"The 13 th Five-Year Plan for Tourism Development" takes the theme of transformation and upgrading,improving quality and enhancing efficiency.It requires to innovate the concepts,construct a new mode of tourism development and accelerate the supply-side structural reform.Therefore,the development of tourism industry can not simply focus on scale benefit.Instead,from the industrial efficiency point of view,it should re-examine the development and coordination of the efficiency of regional tourism industry,and promote the regional tourism industry from element-driven,investment-driven to innovation-driven and technology-driven.Recent years,China’s high-speed rail technology has developed rapidly.High speed rail is characterized by high speed,punctuality and safety,which greatly extends the space range of tourist destination market.This paper is mainly divided into six parts:The first part introduces the development of China’s high-speed rail.The emergence of high-speed rail has brought about great changes in the tourism industry,so this study has a certain significance;The second part sorts out the research on the high-speed rail tourism economy and the efficiency of tourism industry,and finds that the research on the efficiency of tourism industry driven by high-speed railways is still relatively lacking.Besides,BCC models and Malmquist models are commonly used.Therefore,in order to highlight the role of high-speed rail as a "technical advancement",this paper uses the three-phase DEA-Malmquist model to measure the efficiency of the tourism industry and dynamically analyze the changes in the efficiency of the tourism industry before and after the opening of the high-speed rail.The third part uses the entropy weight method and the coupling coordination model to analyze and compare the coupling between the high-speed rail and the tourism economy before and after the opening of the high-speed railway.This part is mainly to establish the measurement relationship between the high-speed rail and the tourism economy and to pave the way for the following research on the efficiency of urban tourism industry along the high-speed railway in the Yangtze River Delta city group;The fourth part is based on the theory of gravitational model,the improved contact economic strength model of tourism is used to analyze the linkage strength,the total amount of contacts and the degree of membership of the tourism economy driven by high-speed railways.This shows that the high-speed railway has brought about some influence to the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration tourism economy.The fifth part uses the three-phase DEA-Marquesz method to study the tourism industry efficiency of cities along the high-speed rail in Yangtze River Delta before and after the opening of the high-speed railway,so as to explore the evolution of tourism industry efficiency in the Yangtze River Delta region;then,the Tobit model is used to analyze the influencing factors of tour ism industry efficiency in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration;Finally,the convergence characteristics of total factor productivity of the tourism industry of cities along the high-speed rail are explored by absolute convergence and conditional convergence.The sixth part summarizes the previous research conclusions.According to the results of the total factor productivity of the tourism industry,the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is divided into three types of cities,and corresponding proposals are made for the development of various types of urban tourism.
