Vulnerability And Evaluation Of Potato Industry Development In Weichang County Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization Strategy

As the first priority of rural revitalization,industrial prosperity plays a ’ catalyst ’role in the implementation of rural revitalization strategy.In the past practice of rural industrial development,we have tried macro-control measures such as industrial structure adjustment,scale,specialization and efficient agriculture.However,in the face of the new " three rural " problems such as the serious aging of the rural population,the " three left behind " in rural areas and the lack of endogenous vitality of the rural industry,it is still stretched.The main body of rural industrial development can only be farmers,and farmers play an important role in the development of rural industries.Therefore,when studying the development of rural industries,we should highlight the main position of farmers,taking into account the impact of farmers ’ factors on the development of rural industries.Taking this as a benchmark to study the development of rural industries can better reflect the people-oriented idea,and it is also more conducive to consolidating the foundation of rural industrial development and promoting the prosperity of rural industries.In view of the above viewpoints,this thesis introduces the vulnerability theory into the research on the development of potato industry in Weichang County,systematically expounds the theoretical model of vulnerability assessment,the assessment framework and the basic connotation of the vulnerability of rural industry development.With the help of VSD assessment framework,the evaluation index system framework of the vulnerability of potato industry development in Weichang County is constructed.The comprehensive index method is used to calculate the vulnerability index of potato industry development,and the factor analysis method and stepwise regression method are used to extract the significant influencing factors of the vulnerability of potato industry development,so as to explore the influence mechanism of the vulnerability of potato industry development in Weichang County.Combined with the actual situation and expectations of farmers obtained from interviews,the strategy of reducing the vulnerability of potato industry development in Weichang County was proposed.The conclusions of this thesis are :(1)The overall development of potato industry in Weichang County is in a medium fragile state,with a vulnerability index of 0.420.From the three dimensions,the exposure index of potato industry development in Weichang County is generally lower than the adaptability index,but the sensitive index is generally higher than the adaptability index,indicating that reducing sensitivity is the most important task to make the development of potato industry in Weichang County stable and good.(2)The main factor score of potato industry development vulnerability obtained by factor analysis can effectively analyze the reasons for the difference of potato industry development vulnerability index among survey villages.(3)The development of potato industry in Weichang county is most affected by environmental risk.Excessive use of chemical fertilizers,pesticides,film leading to potato growth environment is facing great risk,Weichang County should optimize the planting structure,reduce soil and water pollution,to give potato a fertile soil for growth.
