Research On The Impact Of The Development Of Anlan Valley Scenic Area In Wanzhou District, Chongqing On Farmers' Livelihood

In order to alleviate the gap between urban and rural areas and start a new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way,the whole Party and the whole society must be put into full play to promote rural revitalization.The development of rural tourism is an effective way to promote rural development,increase farmers’ income,and improve the quality and efficiency of agriculture.The Party and the state attach great importance to it.Even under the influence of the novel coronavirus epidemic,the No.1 Central Document in 2022 still proposes to implement the rural leisure tourism promotion plan.This is because the vigorous development of rural tourism has a far-reaching impact on "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",especially the livelihoods of local farmers.In this paper,farmers in Anlan Valley Scenic spot,Wanzhou District,Chongqing are taken as the research objects.Under the framework of sustainable livelihood analysis,the main concepts are first defined.According to the actual situation of Anlan Valley scenic spot,the farmers’ livelihood capital and livelihood strategy index system are constructed through field visits and surveys.Secondly,through the distribution of questionnaires and in-depth interviews,the effective questionnaire data were sorted and calculated to analyze the current situation of farmers’ livelihoods in detail.Then,through the research on the changes of farmers’ livelihood capital and livelihood strategies before and after the development of Anlan Valley scenic spot,it is concluded that the development of Anlan Valley scenic spot has different degrees of influence on local farmers’ livelihood capital and livelihood strategies.Meanwhile,the empirical research on the impact of the development of Anlan Valley scenic spot on farmers’ livelihood strategies is carried out.Based on the above research,it is concluded that:(1)After the development of Anlan Valley scenic area,five major livelihood capital reserves of local farmers are reconstructed.The comprehensive scores of human capital and natural capital of farmers decreased,the comprehensive scores of financial capital and social capital remained unchanged,and the comprehensive scores of physical capital increased significantly;(2)After the development of Anlan Valley scenic spot,farmers will change to tourism livelihood based on the rich choice of livelihood strategies;(3)The development of Anlan Valley scenic area has an impact on the livelihood strategies of farmers in the scenic area through two ways.One is the direct impact of the development of Anlan Valley scenic area on the livelihood strategies of farmers.The second is the indirect influence of the development of Anlan Valley scenic area on farmers’ livelihood strategies.Therefore,in order to promote the sustainable development of scenic spots and improve farmers’ livelihoods,it is necessary to effectively increase farmers’ income,and put forward the following targeted countermeasures and suggestions.First,the three parties work together to promote the development of scenic spots.Second,we should take multiple measures to improve the livelihood capital of rural households.The third is classification guidance,change farmer livelihood strategy.Fourth,all-round supervision to achieve a win-win situation between scenic spots and farmers.Fifth,establish a mechanism for linking interests to protect the interests of all parties.
