An Analysis Of Factors Influencing China’s Export Of Wood Based Panel

China’s GDP reached 101.36 trillion Yuan in 2020,takes 17.38 percent of total world’s GDP,ranked second in the world.China’s total forestry industry assets valued 7.55 trillion Yuan,forestry products export valued 160 billion USD,solved 34 million employments in China.Government is paying more and more attention to ecological civilization during process of developing the economy.Forestry industry is the main body of Ecology,as one of the pillar industries of forestry industry,wood-based panel industry can use wood resources with high efficiency,relieve the contradictions between wood supply and demand,which is an important part to achieve sustainable development and green development strategy.China has population of more than 1.4 billion,is the world’s biggest wood based panel producing and consuming country,also the biggest export country,it has great practical significance to study the factors which may affect China’s wood based panel export.This thesis combs the output and export of China’s wood-based panel in recent years,understand the current scale and markets of China’s wood based panel export through specific data,takes top 28 countries of China’s wood based panel export in 2019 as sample,taking China’s wood based panel export data to target countries as dependent variable,selecting target country’s GDP,difference of forest area per person,exchange rate from RMB to currency of target country,foreign trade dependency of target country and COVID-19 as independent variables to establish expanded trade gravity model,using the panel data of the year from 2010 to 2020 of China’s wood based panel export to target countries to empirically analyze.The research shows target countries’ GDP and foreign trade dependency of target country has significant positive effect on China’s export of wood-based panel.Exchange rate from RMB to currency of target country,difference of forest area per person between two countries and COVID19 has significant negative effect on China’s export of wood based panel.Based on above research result,suggestions are made purposefully to improve China’s export of wood based panel.
