The Analysis Of Shandong Province's Current Industrial Agglomeration In Wood-based Panel And The Influencing Factors

This paper, based on the data of First National Economic Census of Shandong Province, systematical analyzed and evaluated the development of wood-based panel industry in Shandong through the combination of theory and reality, and the integration of macro and micro. This study was aimed to explore the characteristics of wood-based Panel Industry agglomeration in Shandong and its influencing factors.The significance of this study lies in creating the regional environment that can be favorable to develop the wood-based panel industry in Shandong. And make the use of the advantages of wood-based panel industries driven regional economic development and up grading the region's competitive edge.The general developing level , production structure, distribution and scale of the wood-based panel industry in Shandong Province were described and analyzed in this paper under the guidance of the industry agglomeration theory. By calculating industrial congregative and its related indexes concluded that there were three features of wood-based panel industry agglomeration in Shandong. First, the distribution exists obvious regional quality. Secondly, mostly aggregated in rural and urban. And last, on the wood-based panel industry agglomeration's process, the government played a great role. And then, on the basis of having selected 13 economic indicators made factor analysis and evaluation about 17 cities in Shandong wood-based panel industry. From the results found that the most important effect weight was resource endowment, next came enterprise benefit and regional economic basis.Meanwhile, the author also deeply analyzed the the reason of producing wood-based panel industrial clustering phenomena. On this based, posing problems of the wood-based panel industry agglomeration in Shandong Province, such as the shortage of production factors , the low industrial technical level of wood-based panel, not yet formed s effective cooperation and competition mechanism between enterprise. The research achievements will provide the wood-based panel industrial policies and the regional development plannings with very important reference value.
