Driven by the rapid economic development in recent years,many graphite electrode manufacturers have got rid of losses and stagnation and achieved good development.At present,environmental protection has increasingly become a topic of concern all over the world.Due to the progress of science and technology,the improvement of process flow,the improvement of manufacturing level,and the transformation and upgrading of graphite electrode production enterprises,they can also make a contribution to sustainable development.Firstly,this paper arranges the relevant literature of graphite electrode industry,vertical integration research,multiple linear regression model and test methods.Then,it introduces the current situation of graphite electrode production and consumption in China and the world,and analyzes the current situation of graphite electrode export by using relevant international trade theories.On this basis,the author summarizes the factors affecting the export volume of graphite electrode,such as the import and export volume of upstream needle coke,the import and export volume of downstream steel,national development level,exchange rate,etc.for these aspects,the author selects the steel import volume,steel export volume,needle coke import volume,needle coke export volume,national GDP Exchange rate and graphite electrode export volume of non-equilibrium panel data,through the comparison of the regression analysis results of fixed effect model and random effect model,the fixed effect model is selected,and then the balanced panel data is selected from the non-equilibrium panel data for regression analysis,test and correction.Finally,the conclusion is drawn:steel export volume,needle coke import volume The increase of GDP in all countries can promote the export of graphite electrode,while the increase of steel import can inhibit the export of graphite electrode.The change of needle coke import has the greatest influence on the change of graphite electrode export.The development of needle coke industry,the expansion of needle coke production enterprises and the transformation and upgrading of steel plants will promote the export of graphite electrodes.It also puts forward suggestions for the vertical integrated development of graphite electrode production enterprises,and puts forward suggestions for the government to establish a carbon trading market and subsidize the R&D expenses of enterprise scientific and technological innovation,so as to promote its development.
