Although the development of the copper clad foil substrate industry is actively promoted by "14th Five-Year" information communication industry development plan,the same industry expansion projects also mushroomed,in the future the market must be competitive at the same time.It is urgent to solve the prominent problems of D company about supplier management,such as inefficient supplier selection,supplier quality problems and lack of enthusiasm for improvement.This paper aims to improve the research on supplier selection scheme and indicator formulation,supplier performance evaluation standard construction and supplier hierarchical management.the supplier selection process and performance evaluation system of D company were built through Kraljic Model,analytic hierarchy process,and the relevant theories of supplier management,so as to further enhance the overall competitiveness of D company.First of all,this paper analyzed the deficiencies in supplier selection and performance evaluation with research on supplier selection process,selection index and supplier performance evaluation of D company.And the supplier selection process is formulated Combined with the development needs of the electronics industry itself.Secondly,In the part of performance evaluation of suppliers,the quality,delivery,service,cost,compliance,sustainable development indicators were selected again,and the AHP(analytic hierarchy process)was adopted to let the evaluation index weight distribution be allocated again,which largely solved the problem that supplier selection index is too single in the past,the lack of evaluating index quantification and not comprehensive.In the end,the hierarchical management of suppliers is conducted according to the performance evaluation results,and the raw materials are classified by the Kraljic Model,which makes the supplier management more targeted,stimulates the supplier’s motivation for continuous improvement,and enhances the supply capacity of suppliers.According to the analy sis of the paper,the supplier selection process of D company was formulated and the performance evaluation standard was established through the development of supplier management which made the hierarchical management of suppliers proceed smoothly,the frequency of raw material problems of suppliers has been reduced by 44%,and the proportion of raw material procurement cost has decreased by 0.59%compared with that in 2021.Under the epidemic environment,this study not only provides theoretical support for the supplier management of D company,but also provides reference for the management of suppliers in the electronic materials manufacturing industry.
