In the past few decades,China’s agriculture has developed rapidly and grain output has increased year by year. This is inseparable from the progress of agricultural production technology, especially the progress of chemical fertilizer industry, but the problem of chemical fertilizer abuse has gradually emerged. With the proposal of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains",China has paid more and more attention to the construction of agricultural ecological environment. The agricultural development model of "resources for economy" has been gradually abandoned and replaced by a sustainable development model with higher resource utilization rate and more friendly to the environment. Therefore,in terms of crop planting,it is necessary to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, use organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizers, and replace chemical fertilizers with organic fertilizers. In order to promote the green development of agriculture, the Ministry of Agriculture put forward the goal of "one control, two reductions and three basic" in 2018,and Inner Mongolia also carried out the action of "four controls" to reduce the use of chemical fertilizer and promote the popularization of organic fertilizer. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influencing factors of organic fertilizer application in the process of agricultural production. In this thesis, the production behavior of farmers is taken as the research object, and combined with the actual situation of Inner Mongolia,it is refined into the application behavior of organic fertilizer adopted by corn growers who adopt the combination mode of planting and breeding;Based on Farmers’ behavior theory, sustainable development theory and cost-benefit theory; At the same time,in view of the strong typicality of corn planting in Bayannur and Ulanqab in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, this thesis takes a total of300 effective questionnaires collected from 124 villages and communities in 28 Sumu townships of Bayannur and Ulanqab and Saihan District of Hohhot as data support;Multiple collinearity test is used to ensure the independence of each variable, and the data are empirically analyzed through OLS model, supplemented by robustness test to ensure the reliability of the conclusion. The study found that the core explanatory variables selected in this thesis are: the breeding quantity, planting area, average stock index per mu,the awareness of organic fertilizer promotion degree and environmental regulation measures of corn growers have a significant impact on the average application amount of organic fertilizer per mu.In addition, the years of education, migrant work, annual net income The degree of land dispersion and the way of returning manure to the field also have a significant impact on the average amount of organic fertilizer per mu.Accordingly, this thesis puts forward some suggestions on improving the fermentation process, strengthening the publicity of organic fertilizer, popularizing environmental regulation measures and promoting agricultural centralized production,so as to promote the application of organic fertilizer and promote the sustainable development of agriculture.
