Study On Sustainable Livelihood Of Landless Farmers In Shihezi Town

With the continuous advancement of urbanization,more and more farmers have lost their land capital.For landless farmers,this not only manifests as a change in their institutional identity,but the core is to promote the social integration of landless farmers and the sustainable development of their livelihoods.The emergence of this group of landless farmers and the subsequent sustainable livelihood of this group is an unavoidable reality in the road of urbanization.Since the sustainable livelihood of landless farmers is related to the improvement of urbanization quality,economic and social transformation and social stability,the research on the status of landless farmers with sustainable livelihoods as the starting point is the theoretical research and institutional analysis for solving the dual structure of urban and rural areas and building a harmonious society.It has certain social practical significance to provide reference and reference.This paper takes Shihezi Town as the field investigation and research object,collects data on the land-expropriated farmers in Shihezi Town by means of field visits,questionnaires,personal interviews,etc.,and constructs an index system.The predicament of sustainable livelihood,explore the influencing factors that lead to the subsequent livelihood predicament,and find out a suitable way out for this group to obtain sustainable livelihood.This not only provides new research directions and solutions for solving the current ubiquitous problem of landless farmers,but also provides new solutions for new problems in the process of urbanization,and provides reference for the improvement of the system and the formulation of policies.Using the methods of literature research,interview,questionnaire,combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis,from the perspective of landless farmers,this paper investigates the current sustainable livelihood of landless farmers after land expropriation in Shihezi Town,Shihezi City,finds out the key influencing factors causing the change of sustainable livelihood of landless farmers,and explores the guarantee measures to solve the sustainable upgrading ability of landless farmers.The research shows that the landless farmers in Shihezi town are faced with a general state of sustainable livelihood ability.In the four dimensions,livelihood capital and policy capital have a great impact on the sustainable livelihood of landless farmers,followed by livelihood ability and finally livelihood results.The main reasons are insufficient livelihood capital,imperfect livelihood policy system and unable to effectively guarantee sustainable livelihood.Therefore,it is proposed to improve the social security system;Achieve full employment and encourage independent entrepreneurship;Strengthen employment training and guide landless farmers to strengthen their ability to make a living;Establish a long-term monitoring mechanism for the living standards of landless farmers.
