| In the context of the rapid development of the global service economy,the servitization of manufacturing enterprises has become a trend.The product-centered business model can hardly meet the needs of sustainable development of enterprises,and traditional manufacturing enterprises need to achieve business model innovation and continuous adaptation in the process of transformation and upgrading,so as to get rid of the dilemma of product commercialization and achieve stable growth.However,there is a "service paradox" in the process of enterprise service practice,and how enterprises should realize effective business model innovation needs to be solved.Therefore,this thesis explores the business model innovation paths of Haier Group and Xiaomi Group,China’s service-oriented manufacturing demonstration enterprises,in the context of transformation and upgrading using a case thesis approach with the resource orchestration theory as the theoretical basis.After integrating and sorting the primary data,the transformation process of the case companies is analyzed to reveal the evolution process of business model innovation driven by resource orchestration,clarify the effect and mechanism of different types of resource orchestration actions,and analyze the evolution path model of service-oriented business model innovation of the companies.The thesis found that: firstly,the focus of resource orchestration action of servitization manufacturing enterprises has a stage strategy difference,and there are layers of progressive characteristics,the changes of market environment dynamics,enterprise strategy orientation and other factors will trigger the extension of resource orchestration action at the enterprise level,process and boundary,so that the focus of their action will move,the matching of resource utilization mode and value proposition is an important basis to realize the effective orchestration and utilization of resource endowment;secondly,there are different mechanisms and innovation-driven paths of enterprise aggregation and diffusion resource orchestration.Secondly,there are different mechanisms and innovation-driven paths for aggregated and diffused resource scheduling,and enterprises should clarify their own value positioning,choose appropriate resource scheduling actions to improve resource utilization efficiency,establish resource empowerment,structure empowerment,user empowerment and other organizational empowerment mechanisms,and drive the change of value creation logic.Enterprises should focus on the transformation of resources and collaborative actions,and make full use of the combination and adaptation effects generated in the process of "arrangement-collaboration-equilibrium" of resources to enhance the efficiency of enterprise value creation and shape innovative business models.Finally,the characteristics of the value network in the process of enterprise business model innovation change with the adjustment of strategy upgrading and resource action,showing the pattern of weak to strong member relationship and simple to complex structure scale.This thesis enriches the research on servitization business model innovation of manufacturing enterprises,expands the research horizon of resource orchestration theory,reveals the mechanism of action-driven business model innovation and evolutionary path of resource orchestration,and proposes the transformation strategy of traditional manufacturing enterprises in the new context,which has a certain guiding effect on enterprise practice. |
