The Mechanism Of Management Interpretation Impact On The Process Of Servitization Resource Orchestration

In recent years,with development of servitization,the servitization of manufacturing are facing not only include the uncertainty of macro environment caused by high-speed turbulence,for example,the United States has deliberately created a trade war that is constrained by the development of China’s manufacturing industry;but also include the uncertainty of microscopic environment caused by high-speed turbulence,for example cross-border competition.However,study on servitization that match uncertain environment ignore that management interpretation impact on the risk appetite of organizational behavior,and make manufacturing enterprises fall into ’servitization paradox’.Study on it in-depth will provide practical guidance for the servitition of manufacturing enterprises which cope with uncertain environmental changes.It is an urgent task for the service innovation.The key to the research of servitization of matching environment is to reveal the mechanism of management interpretation impact on the process of servitition resource orchestration.There are two problems in previous studies of servitization of matching environment:one pays on attention on integrate internal and external resources;the other one ignore the difference of preferences for organizational behavior.Therefore,this study deeply grasps the characteristics of resource integration for servization,introduces the research perspective of resource orchestration,and defines the scientific question as ’Under the uncertain environment,how does the management interpretarion impact on the servitization resources orchestration process to achieve the service provision?’ First,based on literature research,the study build a mechanism chain of "management interpretation---service resource orchestration-service offering".Secondly,through the case analysis of Supcon and Hangzhou Turbine,the two cases’ pattern matching was carried out.Finally,on the basis of cross-case clustering analysis,the conclusions of this study are obtained:(1)Management interpretation determines the process or mode of servizatition resource bundling;(2)The mechanism of boundary is slack resources;(3)The servizatition resource bundling of will positively affect the service offering.The theoretical contributions of this research are as follows:(1)Introducing the Prospects Theory and threat-rigidity Theory into the servitization resources orchestration,which expands the research boundary of prospect theory and threat rigidity hypothesis,and enriches the theoretical basis of servitization resources orchestration.(2)Introducing the Dual Element Theory into the theoretical research of servitization resources orchestration,thus expanding the research boundary of the Dual Element Theory,thus enriching the theoretical basis of the servitization resources orchestration;(3)Constructing the relationship between management interpretation,servitization resources orchestration,service offering and slack resource,which provides a theoretical basis for further research.This research also has certain practical implications:(1)Manufacturing enterprises can improve service capabilities by exploitative servitization resource bundling and exploratory servitization resource bundling;(2)when under the uncertainty of control and benefit,the servitization manufacturing enterprises can choose different service resource bundles according to their different risk preferences,and the offer service;(3)Manufacturing enterprises that need to pay attention to the abundance of slack resources.
