With the continuous change of the market competition environment and the widespread penetration of Internet technology,the source of corporate competitive advantage is not limited to the occupation and use of its own resources,but the use of high-quality resources across borders.For example,Haier,as a representative of the enterprise,is building a platform-type ecosystem to encourage internal employees to start businesses and greatly activate internal resources of the enterprise.On the other hand,Haier has attracted global high-quality resources by building a platform,breaking the boundaries of the organization's external boundaries,and promoting a symbiotic and win-win situation for the entire business ecosystem.As a representative of new ventures,Xiaomi,while focusing on the development of the mobile phone industry,continuously extends its resource structure to achieve cross-border integration,and builds an ecosystem to realize resource sharing and value co-creation.These two examples show that in the practice of enterprises,building their own business ecosystem is a development trend in which companies gain competitive advantages,and how to effectively integrate and use resources is the key to building a business ecosystem.However,most of the existing theoretical researches focus on the conceptual framework and governance mechanism of the business ecosystem,and few studies explain the construction mechanism of the business ecosystem from the perspective of resources.Therefore,based on the shortcomings of existing research,this paper intends to analyze the construction process of enterprise business ecosystem from Haier and Xiaomi from the perspective of resource concert,and the specific research problems can be decomposed into: different types of business ecosystem What are the motivations for system construction? How does the Resource Concert promote the construction of business ecosystem? What are the characteristics of the business ecosystem?In order to solve the above three problems,based on consulting the literature on resource concert,dynamic capabilities and business ecosystem,this article uses the method of exploratory case analysis to build the business ecosystem of the company through field interviews and second-hand data collection.After conducting research,the following three conclusions are obtained through data coding and analysis:(1)Different types of enterprises have different motivations for building business ecosystems.Incumbent companies are usually rich in resources and inert;start-ups generally have certain resource flexibility,but their own resource accumulation is insufficient.(2)Enterprises with different resource bases have different resource behaviors when constructing business ecosystems.The incumbent enterprise chose a reorganized resource concert,and each stage of its development involved the resource behavior of "resource linking ? resource reorganization ? resource leveraging".Entrepreneurs have chosen extended resource concerts,and each stage of their development involves "resource acquisition ? resource integration ? resource leveraging".(3)In the process of building a business ecosystem,the dynamic capabilities of an enterprise will change with resource behavior.The dynamic capability of the incumbent enterprise is represented by the change of "perceived capability ? absorptive capability ? integration capability",and the dynamic capability of the entrepreneurial enterprise is represented by the change of "response capability ? search capability ? collaboration capability".(4)The characteristics of the business ecosystem can be analyzed from the inter-subject boundaries,participant roles and generation paths.In the process of building a business ecosystem,the boundaries between the subjects are gradually blurred.The core enterprises play the role of resource master and other members play the role of resource sharer.From the perspective of generating paths,Haier follows an endogenous path,while Xiaomi follows an exogenous path.
