| The logistics industry,as a sign of the "third source of profit",has become one of the symbols of a country’s comprehensive strength in terms of its level of development.Third-party logistics is a generic term for the profession of providing specialised logistics services for both the supply and demand sides of commodities.There are more than 700,000 third-party logistics enterprises in China,which are composed of professionals and technologies that can provide personalised services for users.With the full opening of China’s logistics market in 2006 and the entry of foreign logistics giants into China in the form of sole proprietorship or joint ventures,competition in the logistics industry has been intensifying,and only companies with core competencies can be invincible in the market in the fierce competition.This thesis takes Deppon Logistics Co.,Ltd.as the research object and evaluates its core competitiveness from a financial perspective.On the basis of the literature and theories related to the evaluation of core competencies,the paper distinguishes between core competencies and financial competencies.By summarising and detailing the components and evaluation methods of core competitiveness,the paper selects a specific and operational core competitiveness index system from the financial perspective,taking into account the characteristics of the logistics industry,and establishes a core competitiveness evaluation model from the dimensions of basic resource cost,science and technology cost,human resource cost,profitability,solvency and operational capability.Using the CRITIC analysis method,several giant companies in the logistics industry are selected as reference targets for comparison and empirical analysis with Deppon Logistics Co.Combined with the theories learned,suggestions for improvement are put forward.Combined with the SWOT analysis of the internal and external environment,more thoughts are given to the long-term development of the company,which should always take improving the core competitiveness of the company as the primary task,and only by doing so in an all-round way alongside the leading enterprises in the logistics industry,can the company maintain a continuous and long-term development.The findings of the thesis have a certain reference value for logistics companies to improve their production and operation and enhance their core competitiveness.There are clearer directions and measures for their own improvement.Focus on the cultivation of their own intrinsic core technology and enhance their product development and production capacity.While constantly absorbing the new generation of technology,the company will invest appropriately in the current market changes and its own management situation.Only by creatively developing some core technologies with unique independent intellectual property rights and continuously launching some new generation technologies with international market competitiveness can we achieve its sustainlable development. |
