Research On The Financial Core Competence Of The Corporation

There has been a long history at home and abroad when the research about the core competence of enterprises began, and the research results are becoming more and more mature. Based on this, I focus on the financial field, mainly in the context of the enterprise's core competence and financial management theory, propose the concept of the financial core competence, and conduct financial analysis and empirical evaluation studies on the listed companies.Firstly by studying the domestic and foreign relevant research results, I discovered that at present there are only few researches on the financial core competence, from this draw out the paper's research angle and content. I mainly selected the research method which combined the regular analysis and the empirical study to research listed companies'financial core competence in our country. In the regular analysis, I focused on introducing the forming of the financial core competence, the definition, its function mechanism, the forming key elements and their interrelationship and the structure chart of the forming key elements, and conducted the research to the elementary theory of companies'financial core competence. Based on the research about companies'financial core competence, I constructed systems of the qualitative recognition and quantitative evaluation for the enterprise financial core competence, in the empirical study analysis, for the first time I use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the financial core competence and carried on the synthesis appraisal on the financial core competence of the three representative listed companies of the steel and iron profession, meanwhile arranged their financial core competence. Finally, according to the result of analysis, I proposed the cultivation method of the enterprise financial core competence to reconstruct the idea of enterprise financial management.Based on the research results about the core competence of enterprises and strategic management at home and abroad, I mainly study the financial field. And propose the basic theory about the financial core competence, it is theoretical and l valuable.There are some innovations in my thesis:Firstly, I construct theory and practice system about the financial core competence. This system is the topic and logical framework of the thesis. In the theory, I analyze the forming of the financial core competence, the definition, its function mechanism, the forming key elements and their interrelationship and the structure chart of the forming key elements. In practice system, I focus on qualitative identification, quantitative evaluation and cultivate of the financial core competence.Secondly, I put forwards the concept of the financial core competence scientifically. The financial core competence is an innovation in finance which according to the enterprise's core competitiveness theory, basing on the perspective of economics and strategic management. As a new field in the modern financial system, it provides people new ideas of understanding and developing finance.Thirdly, I establish the financial evaluation index system for the financial core competence. The financial evaluation index system is based on the various elements in the forming of the financial core competence. Every evaluation index reflected the basic requirements of the financial management practices as well as the ability of state of financial management activities.Fourthly, for the first time I use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) applied for the evaluation of the core competence to evaluate the financial core competence on the basis of"The Competitiveness Ranked of Enterprises"which was edited by Shanghai Century Alliance Consulting Ltd. Practicing the evaluation method is very important and significant to the state, the enterprises and the investors.In this paper, the shortfall is that considering some factors in evaluating the financial core competence is complex, unavailable, I give up them in the design of the index system,. This influence the scientific evaluation index system and the accuracy of evaluation results more or less.
