Research On Production Efficiency Evaluation And Spatial-temporal Evolution Of China’s Digital Economy

At present,China’s economic development is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading.With the acceleration of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation,the status of the digital economy in the national economy has been continuously improved,and its impact on people’s lives has also deepened.The development of the digital economy,Cultivating new kinetic energy has become an objective requirement for economic and social development.Research on the production efficiency of the digital economy can help us grasp the development status of the digital economy,help complete the transformation of old and new kinetic energy,and promote high-quality economic development.First of all,this paper summarizes the relevant research status of the connotation of digital economy and its measurement methods,and clarifies the concept and characteristics of digital economy in this paper.Based on the research on efficiency in economics,the concept of production efficiency of digital economy is proposed.Efficiency is the comprehensive efficiency of the transformation of traditional production factors and new production factors in the digital economy into the benefits of the digital industry itself and the social benefits of digital technology.Second,based on the theory of digital economy production efficiency,this paper builds an indicator system for China’s digital economy production efficiency,and uses the three-stage super-efficiency SBM model to measure the digital economy production efficiency of 29 provinces and cities in China from 2014 to 2020.The calculation results of the first-stage SBM model show that during the period from 2014 to 2020,the change trend of China’s overall digital economy production efficiency is to first decline and then rise.The digital economy production efficiency in the eastern coastal areas is significantly higher than that in the central and western regions,and it is closer to the production frontier.Guangdong The provincial digital economy production efficiency is always in an effective state;through the two-stage SFA regression,it is found that three environmental variables have a significant impact on the digital economy investment,the level of economic development and financial support have a significant positive effect on the production efficiency of the digital economy,the Internet The effect of the penetration rate on the production efficiency of the digital economy is significantly negative;the overall production efficiency of China’s digital economy after excluding environmental factors is significantly lower than the overall level of the first stage,and the existence of environmental variables overestimates the production efficiency of China’s digital economy.In terms of distribution,the production efficiency of China’s digital economy is distributed in steps.From a regional perspective,the production efficiency of China’s digital economy has obvious regional heterogeneity.Thirdly,according to the production efficiency value of the digital economy in the third stage,the spatiotemporal dynamic evolution of the production efficiency of China’s digital economy is studied by using kernel density estimation and Markov chain method.The results of the kernel density estimation study show that China’s digital economy production efficiency generally has a long-term positive trend,and regional differences are further narrowed.The distribution of digital economy production efficiency in the eastern region shows temporal instability,the central region has steadily improved,and the difference in the western region has narrowed;Mal The research results of the KovChain show that the production efficiency of China’s digital economy is prone to fall into an "inefficiency cycle".The production efficiency of the digital economy development is likely to remain in the backward stage,while the highefficiency regions will always maintain a leading edge;Space Mar Further research results of the KovChain show that spatial factors play a certain role in the development of the digital economy.If a region is adjacent to a high-efficiency region,the production efficiency of the digital economy will be more likely to be improved.On the contrary,the production efficiency of the digital economy will be more difficult promoted.Finally,based on the empirical research results,relevant policy recommendations are put forward.China should vigorously promote research on digital technology innovation,establish and improve the digital economy market environment,increase support for the digital industry,give play to the leading role of high-efficiency areas of the digital economy,accelerate the development of the digital economy,and improve the production efficiency of the digital economy.
