Research On The Coordinated Development Of Population And Economy In Chongqing Under The Spatial Distribution Of "One District And Two Clusters"

During his visit to Chongqing in April 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping called for coordinated regional development,and encouraged each region to give full play to its advantages,highlight its characteristics and achieve coordinated development.This has pointed out the direction and provided guidance for Chongqing to promote the coordinated development of " one district and two clusters ".In view of the large size of Chongqing’s elderly population,the accelerated ageing process and the uneven ageing of the population,it is necessary to study the relationship and spatial pattern of Chongqing.So as to adjust the relevant policies according to the changing trend of the population structure in Chongqing.By promoting the introduction of scientific and technological talents and the return of the migrant population is of great significance for promoting the high quality of Chongqing’s economy and the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.In order to address the issue of coordination between population structure and economic development in Chongqing,firstly,this paper analyzes the population structure and economic development status of "one district and two groups" in Chongqing,and builds the population structure system and economic development system index system based on this.Secondly,a fractional entropy weight gray correlation degree model is proposed.The coupling degree of coordination of Chongqing from 2010 to 2020 is then measured by combining the coupling coordination degree model.At last,based on the number of permanent residents and the total regional GDP of each district and county of "one district and two clusters" in Chongqing,the population-economic growth elasticity,population-economic geographic concentration,population-economic inconsistency index,economic spatial autocorrelation,etc.Methods,systematically analyzed the spatial evolution characteristics of population distribution and economic development in Chongqing under the spatial layout of "one district and two clusters".The results show that: 1)There is a strong correlation between Chongqing’s population structure and the overall regional economic system.The comprehensive correlation between Chongqing’s population and economic and social development is ranked by size,which are age,gender,urban and rural areas,and industry.2)After 2015,the degree of coupling and coordination between the population structure and economic development in Chongqing has been continuously improved.3)The overall growth trend of Chongqing’s population and economy is relatively synergistic.Before 2016,the overall elasticity of population and economic growth in Chongqing was relatively stable,and it fluctuated greatly after 2016.The population-economic geographic concentration is characterized by "high in one area and low in two clusters".The inconsistency index between population and economy is characterized by "one area increases and two clusters decreases",and the difference is gradually narrowing,indicating that the gap between population and economic development in Chongqing’s "one area and two clusters " is gradually narrowing.The positive spatial correlation of population in Chongqing is increasing,but the positive spatial correlation of economy is weakening.In view of the above analysis,If Chongqing wants to realize the coordinated development of population and economy,Chongqing should actively develop service industries related to the elderly;strengthen urban and rural coordinated development,and optimize the urban and rural population structure;continue to expand and strengthen the "one district",make the "two clusters " better and more special,and aim at the key points accurately make efforts;strengthen the awareness of coordinated development,and optimize the spatial distribution pattern of population and economy.
