Research On The Evaluation Of The Construction Level Of Chongqing International Urban Tourism Destination

International urban tourism destinations play an important role in promoting the international development of cities and tourism.In 2016,the Chongqing Municipal Government issued the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for Chongqing’s Construction of Internationally Famous Tourist Destinations",which put forward the development positioning of "Internationally Famous Tourist Destinations",and the plan clearly proposed the construction of international metropolis tourist destinations.However,the theoretical research of international urban tourist destinations lags behind practice,and there are still few studies on the connotation and construction level evaluation index system of international urban tourist destinations.Therefore,this research has more important theoretical and practical significance.Based on previous studies,this article uses geography,tourism and sustainable development theories and methods to analyze the concepts of urban tourism and international urban tourist destinations,and Constructed an evaluation index system for the construction level of international urban tourist destinations.Taking the construction level of Chongqing’s international urban tourist destinations as the research object,using the entropy TOPSIS method and obstacle degree model for data processing,a longitudinal comparison of the construction level of Chongqing’s international urban tourist destinations from 2005 to 2018 is made,and then compared with Shanghai Conduct a horizontal comparative analysis.Pointed out the problems in Chongqing’s construction of an international urban tourist destination,and finally put forward suggestions for Chongqing’s construction of an international urban tourist destination.The research results show that on the time scale,the construction level of Chongqing’s international urban tourism destinations experienced a low-speed decline stage from 2005 to 2008,a slow upgrade stage from 2009-2012,and a rapid upgrade stage from 2013-2018;On the spatial scale,Chongqing has a large gap with Shanghai in terms of benefits,economic environment,transportation environment,and services.Shanghai’s comprehensive talent environment and image safety environment are also better than Chongqing’s.The advantage of Chongqing lies in its ecological environment and the number of attractions.According to the existing problems in the construction of Chongqing’s international urban tourist destinations,four measures are proposed to explore Chongqing’s regional culture,establish an international urban tourism image,build high-quality tourist service and reception facilities,strengthen regional alliances,and enhance the accessibility of international tourists.
