| The emergence of outsourcing services has accelerated the development of all areas of society,and in the archives sector it has accelerated the digitization of archives through the rational allocation of resources and the specialized division of labour.By relying on specialized archives outsourcing services,archives departments are able to handle the digitisation of large volumes of archives in an efficient manner,despite the limitations of human resources and specialist equipment.However,due to the confidential nature of archives,the issue of securing archival information has been controversial in the actual process of archival departments of various enterprises and institutions,which has affected the widespread development of digitisation outsourcing services.Therefore,from the perspective of information security theory,this paper focuses on the factors influencing the willingness and decision to outsource digitisation in archives departments,and proposes ideas for optimising the construction of outsourcing digitisation services in archives departments.This study adopts a mixed research method interpretive sequence design,first analysing the literature related to archival outsourcing services and information security,on the basis of which hypotheses and research models are proposed,and then selecting archivists from industry sectors across the country,including comprehensive archives,universities,enterprises and institutions,and military industries,as research subjects for a questionnaire survey,followed by semi-structured interviews to collect qualitative data based on the results,which are then The two results were then analysed and integrated.Specifically,the main contents of this study include:(1)To review and analyse the current situation of research on the factors affecting information security of archival outsourcing services at home and abroad,and to analyse the limitations and shortcomings of current research.(2)Defining the concept of archival information security in archival digitization outsourcing,combining the existing research in the academic field with textual analysis,and mining the factors of archival information security to construct hypotheses and models.(3)To investigate the current situation of digital outsourcing in different types of archival institutions through questionnaires,collect their views on the factors affecting information security involved in digital outsourcing,and analyse them using spss analysis tools.(4)Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis,semi-structured interviews were conducted for the main influencing factors and real-life problems and specific groups of people,hypotheses were tested and results were interpreted,and suggestions for the optimisation of information security construction in archival digitisation outsourcing were put forward.Based on the above-mentioned research,this study finally came up with the following results:(1)Archivists have a high subjective willingness to outsource,but hold a hesitant attitude towards the security of archival information in the outsourcing process,so securing information security is conducive to enhancing the overall willingness to outsource.(2)The confidentiality of the archival information itself is negatively related to the willingness to outsource,while the enhancement of security measures for the archival information subject and the improvement of the information security environment can have a positive impact on their willingness to outsource,and the age,work experience and industry of archival staff can also have a corresponding impact on the willingness to outsource.(3)The empirical study also found that there are information security dilemmas in practice in terms of cost compression,recommendation mechanism and personnel management,and that it is necessary to ensure archival information security from various aspects such as resource screening,organisational management and emergency recovery,and to jointly promote the development process of archival digital outsourcing services. |
