The museum collects information about human civilization and art.Besides collecting cultural relics,museums also have functions of research,education and service.More visitors want to "take it home".Cultural products are thus produced.The state develops cultural products,Policy support and people's spending,New opportunities for museums.In February 2018,the Pengshan Jiangkou site in Sichuan was awarded the "Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2017",and the estimated completion time is2020.The State formally released the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" for the National Cultural Relics Development in February 2017,which required enriching museum collections and promoting the development of museum cultural and creative products.On March 4,2016,the State Council also issued the "Guiding Opinions on Further Strengthening Cultural Relics Work".The fifth policy emphasizes the expansion and utilization of museums,mobilizing museum resources to develop creative products,and vigorously develop cultural and creative industries.After the museum is completed,it is not only a display of cultural relics.It also needs to use visual communication theory and methods to research cultural relics and design related cultural and creative products to develop the museum.As a non-profit organization,the museum's economic source comes from government support on the one hand,and it needs to raise its own funds to maintain the museum's development,and many museums cannot rely on the proceeds from tickets to support the museum's operations.Therefore,the operation and long-term development of the museum is also a problem that the Jiangkou Chenyin Museum has to face.Therefore,no matter from the point of view of the operation of the museum,or from the perspective of the museum's various attributes and social needs,it is necessary and affirmative to research thecultural relics in the museum and build cultural and creative products that can represent the Jiangkou Chenyin Museum.Based on the theory and method of visual communication,this paper studies the representative cultural relics in Jiangkou chenyin Museum and the practice of cultural and creative design,finds and solves the problems in the development of cultural and creative products in the museum,and further proves the necessity and feasibility of cultural and creative product design in Jiangkou chenyin Museum,which has certain social significance and economic value.
