With the increasing globalization and international trade, economic connections and interdependence between countries have grown stronger. To stand out in this environment, businesses need to constantly improve their core competitiveness and seize market opportunities. However, supply chain optimization, while enhancing a company’s competitive advantage and customer satisfaction, also leads to more instability and uncertainty. This is particularly true for the electronics industry, which heavily relies on foreign technology and essential components such as chips, making it highly sensitive to global political, economic, and social environments. Therefore,it is important to conduct research on the evaluation and improvement of supply chain resilience in the electronics manufacturing industry to identify risk factors, prevent risk transmission effects, mitigate negative impacts, and maintain a smooth and stable supply chain.Based on an understanding of the current development of China’s electronics industry and the connotations of supply chain resilience,as well as a review of relevant literature,we first identified five dimensions of supply chain resilience: monitoring, absorption, adaptation, recovery, and enhancement. We then established an evaluation system that includes 11 secondary indicators and 26 tertiary indicators.Second,we conducted a survey of electronics industry practitioners and research experts, and modified the evaluation system based on reliability and validity testing.Third,we used structural equation modeling to determine the weightings of each level of indicators, calculated scores for the five dimensions and overall supply chain resilience using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, and conducted sensitivity analysis on the indicator weightings to further verify the role of resilience. Finally, based on the evaluation process,we designed resilience enhancement pathways for the three stages of risk disturbance: before, during, and after the disturbance. We also proposed feasible optimization suggestions for supply chain resilience from the macro perspective of the government, the meso perspective of the industry, and the micro perspective of enterprises. The research results show that China’s electronics manufacturing industry supply chain resilience score is 86.55,indicating a stable and positive trend overall. However, enhancement and monitoring capabilities are weak points in supply chain resilience management, while absorption and enhancement capabilities are the two dimensions with the highest sensitivity.Based on the evaluation results,we designed resilience enhancement pathways and optimization suggestions, providing important basis for the electronics manufacturing industry to strengthen risk prevention, resist risk disturbance, and ensure the smooth and healthy development of the supply chain in a complex environment.
