Research On The Reporting Framework Of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture By Nanfang Daily

In 2016,the "13th Five-Year Plan" outline proposed for the first time to build a major platform for cooperation between Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA)and other provinces.Economic development provides basic conditions for cultural integration and exchange,and cultural identity and integration become the core and soul of economic integration and development.How traditional media make good use of their own advantages to improve the quality of reporting in the GBA is crucial to the development of regional culture in China.Based on the reality of cultural reporting,this paper adopts the relevant theories of Tankard and Zang Guoren on the framework study,selects the Nanfang Daily as the research object,and takes the Nanfang Daily’s cultural report on the GBA as the sample,the content analysis method is used to carry out quantitative research on the number of reports,the type of reports,the layout of reports,the length of reports,the structure of reports,the source of manuscripts,the source of news,the subject of reports,the angle and tendency of reports,as well as the rhetoric of discourse,to analyze how the Nanfang Daily constructs the cultural report of the GBA.The research method of text analysis is adopted for the specific content of the report,and the thematic framework,structural framework and discourse framework of the report are systematically analyzed from the high,middle and low levels to explore the characteristics and causes of the news framework of Nanfang Daily’s cultural report.The study found that there are four thematic frameworks in the high-level reporting framework of the Nanfang Daily’s cultural report on the GBA,including achievement display,policy interpretation,cultural exchange and positive reporting,showing the characteristics of focusing on enhancing cultural confidence,focusing on policy information,highlighting the theme of cultural integration and promoting the theme.The medium-hierarchy framework of the report will adopt different reporting structures for different reporting topics,and present their own characteristics of the news framework,pay attention to the logic of the article.The low-level discourse framework presents the characteristics of diverse news headlines,rich language expressions,and rich emotions,which are consistent with the theme style of cultural reports in the GBA.In addition,this paper finds that the construction of regional cultural identity and sense of belonging,the realization of cultural integration,the establishment of regional image,the promotion of regional economic development,and media attribute are important factors that affect the presentation of the news framework of the cultural report of the GBA of the Nanfang Daily.At the same time,this study believes that there is a centralized layout and insufficient reporting forms in the Nanfang Daily’s cultural reports on the GBA.The majority of positive reports and the lack of public opinion supervision.The main body of discourse is unbalanced and lacks folk voice.For this reason,it is recommended that in the future reports on the culture of the GBA,the Nanfang Daily should further enhance the attention to the cultural issues of the GBA,strengthen the constructive nature of the report,establish the awareness of problems,and constantly expand the reporting topics to reflect the social situation and public opinion,so as to better assume the original aspiration and mission of the Party Newspaper to effectively guide public opinion,promote social development,and realize the cultural power.
