With the advent of the intelligent era,the cutting-edge information technology covers all fields around the world,and in order to provide users with better services,it is an inevitable requirement for university libraries to adapt to the changing information technology environment and users’ needs,and to diversify their service contents.Taking the library of G University as the research object,we surveyed and analyzed the development status of IT support service innovation,distributed questionnaires about technical support service to users,and gave corresponding optimization strategies for the problems existing in the process of innovative service.This paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1 introductory chapter,which describes the research background of information technology support service in China’s university libraries,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,research methods and innovation points,etc.;Chapter 2 discusses the concepts related to information technology and university library service innovation as well as the content and characteristics of information technology support service innovation in university libraries to provide theoretical support for the subsequent research;Chapter 3 gives an introduction to G University Library,followed by an overview of the library.Chapter 4 introduces the current situation of library service innovation of G University supported by information technology;Chapter 5 draws on the excellent experience of domestic advanced university library technical support service innovation;the last chapter,combining with the actual service innovation of the library of G University,we mainly put forward the optimization strategies to facilitate the service innovation of the library of G University relying on information technology support from the aspects of top-level design,based on readers’ needs,deepening subject services,technical staffing and making good use of various resources. |
