| At present,Chinese furniture manufacturing enterprises are facing the pain points of upgrading and transformation in the new era.The reason behind this is that traditional management models are no longer able to quickly respond to market demand and effectively control costs,becoming a key factor affecting the competitiveness of enterprises.For the manufacturing industry,procurement management is an indispensable part of enterprise management.With the emergence of emerging digital technologies such as cloud computing and big data,the digital procurement transformation of furniture enterprises has also been pushed onto a wave.By using digital means to connect various departments and suppliers of the enterprise,a mobile data chain is formed,integrating upstream and downstream data resources,and jointly building a big data cloud platform.This saves procurement costs,improves procurement efficiency,and maximizes the benefits of various links in the supply chain.TX Company is a small and medium-sized enterprise specializing in furniture production.At present,the company is undergoing a phase of rapid expansion and has enormous development potential.With the continuous expansion of the market,TX Company’s business scope is also constantly expanding and introducing new technologies and innovative products.This article combines the theory of management information systems from a socio technical perspective to study the procurement management of TX Company.The main work carried out includes:(1)Through interviews and surveys,utilizing the three dimensions of management information system theory from a socio technical perspective,combined with the corresponding modules of procurement management,we understand the current status of procurement management and its digital applications in TX company and analyze them.We found that there are problems in TX company’s procurement management,such as non sharing of procurement information,opaque procurement process,and low procurement efficiency.Based on the above issues,we conducted interviews to understand the causes of these problems,Convenient for proposing solutions in the future.(2)With the goal of solving problems in procurement management,this paper proposes optimization and upgrading strategies for procurement management from the three dimensions of organization,management,and technology of TX Company,using the management information system theory from a socio technical perspective combined with digital technology.(3)In response to the demand for digital upgrading of TX Company’s procurement management,security measures are proposed from three aspects: funding,system,and talent.Ensure the smooth development of the company during the high-speed expansion phase and achieve long-term stable development.Digital transformation enables the company to inject fresh blood from the procurement management work,making digital information and technology become the driving force for enterprise development,so as to achieve long-term development.The Digital transformation of procurement has improved the procurement management level of TX Company,which has saved the company a lot of costs.This will play an important role in promoting the company’s Digital transformation,and also provide a useful reference for the digital procurement transformation of small and medium-sized manufacturing industries. |
