Research On The Critical Factors Of DevOps Implementation Based On DEMATEL

With the progress of science,the in-depth discussion of project management theories and methods in the field of software has received more and more attention.In order to cope with the changing market and seize new business opportunities,most companies want to improve the efficiency of project delivery and better meet customer needs through innovative project management methods.DevOps is a new approach to project management that arises from VUCA.Based on the theory of Lean Methodology by combining the principles of Software Process Improvement and APM guidelines,this paper studies DevOps implementation and expands the practice of this theory in the field of software management.By combining the existing domestic and foreign literature of DevOps,this paper analyzes the domestic and foreign scholars’ cognition of DevOps,summarizes the definition of DevOps,and then uses Delphi method indicators to identify the indicators of DevOps influencing factors through two rounds of expert surveys,and finally establishes the index system including 3 primary indicators and 20 secondary indicators.In the established index system,the Decision-making and Test Evaluation Laboratory(DEMATEL)analysis model is established by expert scorecard,and the key influencing factors of 7 DevOps implementation are identified by matrix theory,graph theory and Swing Weighting method,sorted by intensity,DevOps mindset,fostering cooperative culture,emphasizing culture rather than tools,establishing a common goal,Agile development,leadership to show lean behavior and product thinking.Finally,the theoretical demonstration of lean thinking on the key factors and the discussion of DevOps project management enlightenment in VUCA are aimed at enabling enterprises to better understand and apply this new management method on the road of DevOps exploration to enhance the competitiveness of enterprise project.In a word,based on Lean theory,Delphi method,DEMATEL and the improved key factor recognition method,the key factors of DevOps implementation are studied,and corresponding theoretical analysis and practical management implications are proposed,which has reference value and guiding significance for enterprises to implement DevOps.
