The Study On The Quantification Method For Network Security Evaluation

With the rapid development of network technology, there inevitably exists some potential security problems while sharing resources in network. Network security issues have received particular attention while doing network research. So the method of network security evaluation quantification has become one of the most important techniques to realize network security.This thesis attempts to design and develop a general standard appraisal model and the method about the network security. This design and the realization of system can be applied in many fields. In view of one concrete problem, network security evaluation, the DEMATEL method was used to carry on the incidence analysis on all possible factors influencing network security. By calculating the comprehensive influencing index of all factors, the major effect factors are recognized, so we can recognize their degree orders quantitatively. The five factors are chosen as the index for network security evaluating according to their central degrees. The weights of the index are determined by AHP and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is established. Based on the above, the corresponding strategies for the development of network security are present. In the same time, we gain the opportunity to apply the system by the computer.The whole thesis can be divided into six chapters. Chapter one is a brief introduction about background, purpose of study, content of study, method of study, and on the development and status of criteria of both here and abroad for network security. Chapter two is to set up index system of network security evaluation, based on the current situation of network security, and the evaluation standard of the security of network information. Chapter three optimizes index system of network security evaluation by using DEMATEL method. Chapter four introduces fuzzy synthesis evaluation and AHP method, and applies it to establish reasonable the model, the method of network security evaluation quantification. Chapter five discusses the system design of NSEQMS, in computer. Chapter six is conclusions.
