Research On The Development And Utilization Of Chaoshan Qiao Pi Archives

The Qiao Pi archives are precious heritages selected for inclusion in the Memory of the World Register,and their exploitation is of great significance.The Qiao Pi archives originated in Chaoshan.The Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives,which document the history of the overseas Chinese from Chaoshan,are the most complete and largest number of domestic archives reflecting the history of overseas Chinese hometown.It was praised by the master of Sinology,Jao Tsung-,as "Chaoshan area leave over the wonderful things,comparable to Huizhou Studies",and has a pivotal position in the entire Qiao Pi archives.Therefore,the research on the development and utilization of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives is of high research value.The thesis takes Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives as the research object,and studies the current situation and countermeasures of the development and utilization of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives,in order to provide feasible reference and useful reference for the development and utilization of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives in China.Firstly,the thesis explains the concept and characteristics of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives,and outlines the connotation as well as the conditions for the development and exploitation of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives,summarises and analyses the significance of the development and exploitation of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives,and lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Secondly,the thesis adopts a combination of network survey and field survey to conduct an in-depth investigation and research on the current situation of the development and utilization of the Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives.Based on the survey and analysis,the final conclusion is that the current development and utilization of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives has achieved certain results,mainly in terms of implementation plan,promotion,compilation and research results,development mode and utilization channels,but also in terms of social awareness,regulations and systems,technical level,research horizon,talent team and financial investment.Finally,the thesis proposes specific development countermeasures to strengthen the development and utilization of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives resources according to the problems existing in the development and utilization of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives.To expand the scope of research on the development and utilization of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives;to strengthen the construction of talents and enhance the overall quality of the work team of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives;to broaden the sources of funding to ensure the smooth promotion of the development and utilization of Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives.In conclusion,the results of this study show that,as a folk grassroots archival document,the development and exploitation of the Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives is a long-term,complex and systematic project,involving many subjects and many difficulties,which requires the cooperation and continuous efforts of many parties.This paper proposes specific measures for the development and exploitation of the Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives,which can,to a certain extent,enrich and develop the theoretical system of research on the Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives and provide intellectual support for the development of the Chaoshan Qiao Pi archives.
