| With the rapid development of the socialist economy and“big data”era,electronic products have been popularized in people’s daily lives.To mee the market demand,more and more enterprises have been joining the research and development as well as production of electronic products.As the market competition has become increasingly fierce,in order to grab market shares,the enterprises must shorten the lead time of new product research and the development as well as introduction;and in recent years,many enterprise managers have been realizing this is closely related to project management methods.The company“K”that the Autor work in(hereinafter referred to as“the Company”),as a large electronic product manufacturer,is facing many project management problems in its“W”product’s introduction,with schedule delay and progress deviation,for which the Company loses its word to the client and therefor order shares are occupied by its competitors.This thesis is to solve the problems that the Company is facing based on project progress management methods and theories.This thesis takes“W”product introduction of the Company as an example,summarizes the project progress management status of the previous five generations of products in its new product introduction period,and finds that its progress management problems manly include unscientific progress plan,unreasonable progress control methods,to-be-improved project management system and comprehensive quality of the team.Besides,this thesis introduces a more scientific progress plan for the introduction of the 6th generation of product based on many project progress management methods such as WBS,project milestone node definition,Critical Chain Project Management,network plan diagram,etc.Also,the thesis proposes improved project progress monitoring methods,including timely monitoring and improving work division and execution in abnormity handling,as well as improving project scope change management by adopting Gantt chart and milestone nodes.Finally,this article also gives suggestions and proposals for the improvement of progress management for the 6th“W”product in its new product introduction period.This thesis provides improvement measures and proposals for the progress management in the introduction of the 6th generation of product of the Company based on scientific project management the theories and tools,by analyzing the progress control and management status and major issues in the new product introduction period of the previous five generations of products of the Company,which can help the 6th generation of product to complete introduction on time,even ahead of the schedule,and further improve the Company’s competitive power.Besides,the study results mentioned in the thesis can be taken as the reference for the introduction project progress control of other new products of the Company and similar products of other companies. |
