In recent years,with the rapid development of the mobile Internet,new services and new businesses continue to emerge,and the traffic of mobile data services has exploded.In modern network construction,the backbone network,the bearer network and the connection between base stations are inseparable from optical communication,which is very important for modern mobile communication.Intensity Modulation/Direct Detection Optical orthogonal Frequency Division multiplexing system has the advantages of large communication capacity,good security performance,and strong adaptability.However,with the increasing data transmission rate,some error problems may occur.In order to improve the reliability of the digital communication system,it is necessary to use the digital signal correction and error detection technology to enhance the ability of data transmission in the channel to resist various interference,improve the reliability of the system.In the current application situation,polar code has become a hot channel coding technology in the current communication system because of its own characteristics,which is also the current research hotspot in the field of channel coding.In this paper,based on IM/DDO-OFDM system,the polar code encoding and decoding process is studied.The main research contents and achievements of this paper are as follows:1.The polar code hardware encoding module is designed and implemented,and a hierarchical parallel processing structure is proposed to speed up the coding speed of the hardware implementation.The simulation results show that the current encoder can achieve the highest throughput of 721.13Mbps.2.Secondly,the polar code hardware decoding module is designed and implemented,and a block tree processing structure and parallel processing structure are proposed.The simulation results show that the current module can achieve a bit error rate of 1.37×10-4 and a maximum throughput rate of 87.37 Mbps when the signal to noise ratio is 3dB.3.The timing synthesis of the encoding and decoding module is carried out to meet the working timing requirements at 200Mhz,and the hardware implementation of the encoding and decoding algorithm of polarization code is carried out based on IM/DDO-OFDM system.
