Research On The Narrative Characteristics Of Ningxia Daily News Photographic Layout(2019-2021)

In the context of new media,in order to enhance competitiveness,mainstream media continue to break through the traditional reporting narrative framework and narrative conventions in news narrative,and the vivid photographic pictures on the page enable the audience to quickly understand the news events,and also meet the expectations of the general audience for "no picture,no truth".This study takes a total of 241 pages of the photojournalism edition of Ningxia Daily(2019-2021)as the research object,takes news narratology and newspaper typography as the theoretical basis,and uses content analysis and text analysis methods to analyze the narrative characteristics of the photojournalism edition of Ningxia Daily.Six categories are established,namely narrative presentation object,photographic aesthetics,narrative elements,narrative sound,narrative background and narrative theme,and a number of research indicators are set up to comprehensively and deeply discuss the narrative characteristics of the photojournalism edition of Ningxia Daily.Firstly,by analyzing the text of the photojournalism edition,the text,narrative theme,narrative content,narrative image and narrative background characteristics of the photojournalism edition are summarized,and how the photojournalism text comprehensively presents the picture of Ningxia is explored,and the trend of the narrative characteristics of the photojournalism version of Ningxia Daily is summarized.Finally,the author analyzes the narrative characteristics of the photojournalism version and finds that the photographic layout focuses on improving the visual effects and communication effects of the layout from four aspects:photographic layout,layout arrangement,narrative elements and narrative sound.
