The arrival of the new media era and the continuous development of new technologies have greatly changed the channels and methods for the public to contact and obtain information.More and more people choose to browse a variety of information through new media platforms,which undoubtedly impacts the status of public libraries as a landmark place of information and knowledge transmission.Traditional public libraries are facing the crisis of being forgotten and marginalized.How to reverse such an awkward situation,promote the transformation and upgrading of public libraries,and keep up with the pace of development of The Times,is the priority among priorities in the development of public libraries.In recent years,public libraries have preliminarily accumulated some experience in new media communication through the operation and construction of platforms such as Weibo,official account and official website APP.However,for most public libraries,the popular new media video platforms such as bilibili are still relatively unfamiliar.Therefore,this research investigates and analyzes the operation status of platform accounts of bilibili of public libraries.Countermeasures and suggestions are put forward in view of the deficiencies found,in order to provide reference ideas for the construction activities in the field of new media in public libraries.The specific contents of this study are as follows: First,the research status at home and abroad is reviewed,research methods,research ideas and innovation points are determined,and related concepts such as "new media video platform" and "bilibili" and theoretical basis such as "5W theory" and "Use and satisfaction theory" are clarified.Secondly,conduct network investigation and analysis on the overall operation of the account of bilibili of the public library,including basic information and basic data of the account,account communication effect calculated by BVCI2.0,account video types and popular videos,and then interview the audience of the account of bilibili of the public library.To obtain the subjective feelings of the audience as a supplement to the objective operation of the account.Next,combined with the 5W theory,this paper makes a case analysis of the selected excellent operation case--Shanghai Library bilibili account,mainly from the operation subject,released video content,fan audience,communication channel and communication effect,and also interviews the audience of Shanghai Library bilibili account.Finally,this paper summarizes the shortcomings of the current account operation of bilibili of the public library,and concludes the following problems:(1)insufficient attention to the platform of bilibili;(2)Operation management is not standardized;(3)Video quality needs to be improved;(4)Poor communication effect;(5)Insufficient interaction with users.To solve these problems,the author puts forward the following optimization strategies:(1)change the thinking and attach importance to the new media video platform;(2)Establish a professional operation team to ensure good management and operation;(3)Make full use of platform functions to facilitate users’ viewing;(4)Attach importance to the quality of video content and improve the reputation of account of bilibili;(5)To create in line with the style of bilibili,to capture the young audience;(6)Use the platform recommendation mechanism to improve the communication effect;(7)Actively interact with users to narrow the distance;(8)Enhance online and offline interaction to achieve two-way drainage.
