Nowadays,the competition between enterprises has evolved into the competition between supply chains.For many enterprises,supply chain cost management is the third profit source of enterprises.The effect of supply chain cost management will have a direct impact on the profitability of enterprises.Enterprises have adopted supply chain cost management as the driver of their long-term development.At present,the emergence of new generation information technology such as the Internet of things has enriched the means of supply chain cost management.The rational application of modern information technology can promote enterprises to achieve efficient decision-making in the supply chain,improve customer satisfaction and reduce the overall cost of the supply chain.However,in the domestic traditional feed enterprises,the understanding and application of supply chain cost management is still in the early stage of research to a large extent.They pay too much attention to the internal costs of enterprises and ignore the importance of external resources such as suppliers and customers,which greatly limits the application effect of supply chain cost management.Therefore,we should make full use of Internet of things technology to build intelligent information systems,improve the efficiency of enterprise supply chain cost management,and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.During the research process,this thesis summarizes the current research status of domestic and foreign scholars on the Internet of things technology,supply chain cost management and the combination of the two,combs the relevant theories of supply chain cost management,selects s feed company as the case study object,mainly explains the current status of its supply chain cost management driven by the Internet of things technology,and identifies that s company has weak procurement cost control in the supply chain cost management Inefficient inventory cost control,overburdened labor costs,lack of hidden cost data and limited application of Internet of things technology.From the inside and outside of the supply chain,this thesis makes a vertical comparative analysis on the cost management effect of the supply chain using the Internet of things technology,and then explores the subjective and objective factors that affect the cost management effect of the supply chain.At the same time,in view of the defects in the cost management of the supply chain,it puts forward corresponding safeguard measures,in order to further improve the efficiency of S company’s supply chain cost management,It also provides reference for other feed processing enterprises that intend to introduce Internet of things technology for supply chain cost management.
