| In the era of social media,information transmission has undergone subversive changes,showing strong interaction and convenience.Weibo has become one of the main ways for users to express their opinions.The regional image constructed by the mainstream media on Weibo has a profound influence on the public.Henan province has always been burdened with the idea of "stigmatization." It is of great value for Henan province and other regions to explore the influence of media on the image construction of Henan province and put forward the practical de-stigmatization communication strategy.This article selects the @People’s Daily,@The Beijing news,@Yangcheng evening news,@The Paper,@Huashang News,@River Daily at Weibo every year from 2019 to 2021 in the second quarter on all the issue related to Henan news reports,according to a report in the news frame theory set up topics,sources,reported position and interaction data as content analysis.This thesis focuses on the image of Henan presented by different regions and different types of news media in different periods,and analyzes its causes.At the same time,the source of Henan’s image in the audience’s mind and suggestions for de-stigmatization are discussed through in-depth interviews.The study finds that the image of Henan in the audience’s mind and the image of Henan constructed by the media are both characterized by "moral corruption","poverty and backwardness" and "negative news".The reason for the stigmatization of Henan’s image is that "some Henan people misbehave," "selective media reports," "stereotypes of social environment" and "lack of government intervention."This thesis argues that the government and media should start the decontamination communication in Henan.First,the government should call on Henan people to increase selfdiscipline,strengthen supervision and education on illegal behaviors,and promote Henan people’s image awareness.We will increase support for media at all levels,strengthen their strength,and carry out multi-field and multi-level media communication with the outside world.Burnishing the name card of Henan through tourism can not only improve the economy of Henan,but also enable the audience to feel the local conditions and customs of Henan from the actual contact;Cooperate with opinion leaders to speak for Henan,set off the positive public opinion atmosphere,and influence the audience’s opinion imperceptibly;Strengthen the supervision of undesirable information related to Henan,set up supervision institutions suitable for China’s national conditions,and take the initiative to fight against discrimination.Secondly,the media should carry out cultural communication,strengthen the communication of central Plains culture,increase the popularity of henan media;To build the external communication system within the domain and create all-round external communication;Media outside the region set topics from multiple perspectives to keep news coverage fair.Media news reports strive to be truthful as a whole,and refuse to attract audiences with negative reports. |
