| Inner Mongolia Daily,as a provincial party newspaper,has to promote the power of public opinion to help the implementation of rural revitalization strategy in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,and news related to herding is an important grip of its propaganda coverage.The news frame plays an irreplaceable role in guiding public opinion through media propaganda reports.Therefore,this paper is devoted to studying the framework of herding-related news coverage in Inner Mongolia Daily in the context of rural revitalization.In this study,1,132 herding-related reports from Inner Mongolia Daily were selected as the research objects,and the content analysis method and text analysis method were used as the research methods,and the three-level framework theory of scholar Zang Guoren was used as the theoretical basis to analyze and summarize the framework of herding-related reports.Firstly,we analyzed the high level framework of herding-related reports in five aspects: the number of reports,news sources,report layout,report scope,and report theme;secondly,we analyzed the middle level framework of herding-related reports by taking the news protagonist as the entry point;finally,we analyzed the low level framework of herding-related reports in three aspects: news vocabulary,news headline,and discourse form.The study concludes that the high-level thematic framework of herding-related coverage in Inner Mongolia Daily under the rural revitalization strategy is: to cooperate with the implementation of the national strategy in Inner Mongolia,to guide public opinion,and to reflect local herding-related characteristics;the mid-level narrative framework is: to highlight the integrated development of urban and herding areas by covering herding-related characters and events;in the process of constructing the mid-level narrative framework,six types of frameworks are presented,namely,factual framework,political framework,help framework,effectiveness comparison framework,guidance framework,and humane framework;the low-level structural framework is: to present local herding-related characteristics by using the newspaper’s discourse style.Finally,the three structural frameworks of high,medium and low levels are summarized to build a general framework for herding-related coverage in Inner Mongolia Daily under the background of rural revitalization,and corresponding optimization suggestions are put forward for the existing problems in the framework.First,strengthen the planning of herding-related news to help rural revitalization.Secondly,balance the theme of herding-related reports and focus on comprehensive construction.Third,do a good job in constructive herding-related reporting and use good public opinion supervision.Fourth,innovate the way of integrated media reporting to form public opinion synergy. |
