According to an online survey conducted by a third-party organization commissioned by the State General Administration of Sports,"home fitness" became the number one online buzzword for national fitness during the epidemic prevention and control period.In the process of home health prevention and control,home fitness became the main way for people to do sports,social media became the main platform for people to communicate,fitness influencers became the focus of people’s attention,and home fitness and other related topics were extremely hot,so that many people experienced happiness and gained health as a result.This not only shows the active participation of people in home fitness during the epidemic,but also creates a new phenomenon of sports communication that cannot be ignored.Based on self-presentation theory and interaction ritual model,this paper uses the literature,text analysis,participant observation and interview methods to investigate the self-representation and interaction rituals of fitness influencers in social media,taking Pamela Reif and Saturday Wild Zoey as representatives.The self-presentation and interactive rituals of fitness influencer were analyzed and studied.The results of the study showed that fitness influencers create and believe in their roles as online successors to fitness trainers,opinion leaders in the fitness field,and purveyors of health ideas.The self-presentation of fitness influencers in the"stage" with social media as the backdrop showed that the "stage setting" catered to social media,the use of fitness-related symbols in the "personal foreground",and the boundary between "foreground" and "background" was broken.In the interactive ritual of home fitness in social media,which is dominated by fitness influencers,the components are the virtual presence of social media users forming a group gathering,the openness of the Internet does not completely limit the outsiders,the fitness influencers and the fitness content are the focus of mutual attention of the participants,and the participants have a shared emotional state,and after a series of interactions,the followers of the fitness blogger generate group solidarity,individual emotional energy,symbols representing the group,and a sense of morality.It also reflect on the self-presentation and interaction rituals of fitness influencers,and puts forward the existing problems and suggestions.It is hoped that the research in this paper will provide some reference for the development of fitness influencers.
