Research On Female Body Aesthetics In The Report Of "Fitness&Beauty"

"Fitness&Beauty" magazine was founded in 1980 and is China's first fitnessthemed publication.In the early days,the content of "Fitness&Beauty" was mainly based on health care and fitness enlightenment,and then gradually developed into a vane of Chinese bodybuilding and public aesthetic appeal.In the 40 years of development,"Fitness&Beauty" has played an important role in the construction of the audience's lifestyle,the cultivation of aesthetic appeal,and the development of China's fitness and bodybuilding industry.However,as a sport with the goal of shaping the body,the development of female fitness and bodybuilding has long been difficult to integrate into the mainstream recreational life due to the influence of body concepts and aesthetic concepts."Fitness&Beauty" as a traditional position to promote the sport,the concept of body conveyed has positive significance for the promotion of women's fitness and bodybuilding and the civilization of women's body consciousness.Research on the concept of female body reflected in "Fitness&Beauty" under the background of the era can not only discover the problems in the development of fitness and bodybuilding in my country,and better promote national fitness and national health.At the same time,it can provide a reference direction on establishing independent body awareness and achieving people-oriented on body and fitness for women.The reason for the research from the perspective of women is that women are a special group in fitness and bodybuilding sports and the industry.It is reflected in women's body and aesthetic concepts that are prone to extremes,and the cultural shackles they suffer are more obvious.Natural physical disadvantages make women easy to be "materialized" and become objects of aesthetics rather than subjects.Unhealthy aesthetic concepts have long dominated the mainstream.This article takes the content of "Fitness&Beauty" 40 years ago as the research object,takes female fitness and bodybuilding as a clue,through text analysis,case analysis and other methods,from the enlightenment of female bodybuilding in China,bikinis and the physical conflicts of Chinese women,the concept change of female body aesthetics and the first four aspects of female body aesthetics are discussed.Studies indicate:(1)Female bodybuilding must be viewed from two different directions.The level of muscle development that can be achieved by mass fitness is generally widely accepted,and the appropriate amount of muscle makes the female body closer to the aesthetic standards of the human body.Female competitive bodybuilding has downplayed gender consciousness to a certain extent,and cannot be viewed from the traditional aesthetic point of view.Instead,attention should be paid to the spiritual connotation of competitive sports.The two development directions should not be confused or completely separated.(2)Bikini is the competitive need of female bodybuilding,and it is also the best package to show the beauty of female body.Women's daring to show the beauty of the body is an innovation in the concept of the body,and the widespread acceptance of bikinis in society is an advancement in aesthetic concepts and the level of civilization.(3)In the 40 years since the Reform and Opening Up,although women's body concept and aesthetic concept have gradually opened up and diversified,they have been in conflict with the social concepts guided by the patriarchal consciousness in different periods.From the incomprehension of the pursuit of physical liberation in the 1980 s,to the pressure of weight loss during the rapid economic development period,to the current body anxiety and fitness pressure,"Fitness&Beauty" has always played a neutralizing role.(4)"Fitness&Beauty" always regards health as the bottom line of the body and aesthetic concept,regards the unhealthy so-called "aesthetics" as "appreciation of ugliness",and firmly opposes the concept of the body that violates the law of physical development.On the basis of health,"Fitness&Beauty" respects and tolerates different aesthetic concepts,encourages the concept of physical development with personal will,and tries to build a healthy,diverse and individual aesthetic cultural circle.The development context of "Fitness&Beauty" since its inception is interrelated with the social development brought about by Reform and Opening Up.For 40 years,"Fitness&Beauty" has played an enlightening,guiding and helping role in women's fitness and bodybuilding.Although the aesthetic guiding force of magazines has been immersed in the Internet media,it does not affect its important position in the development of modern Chinese body concepts.
