Nowadays,China is committed to building an innovative country and a world science and technology power,it is necessary to reinforce the intensity of cultivating innovative talents.College entrance examination system is a key part of national talent output.Provinces and cities in China started the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination one after another since 2014.Physics as a fundamental discipline of natural science discipline,it is crucial to improve scientific literacy of talents.In the field of physics discipline,this round of new college entrance examination reform raised higher requirements to cultivating students’ abilities and enhancing teachers’ professional qualities.Chongqing,as one of the cities which anticipate in the comprehensive reform of the third wave college entrance examination,it stress the importance of physics discipline in the elective examination system.It is worth deep research.In the view of above,this article conduct research on physics teaching in ordinary high schools taking Wanzhou District,Chongqing as the research site.This article is aiming to identify the current problems,propose corresponding strategies,adjust the direction of physics teaching in a timely manner,and ensure the effective promotion of reform in physics teaching.This article studies literature on the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination and high school physics teaching taking literature research method.It sorts out the new requirements for the development of students’ abilities and teachers’ professional qualities in the physics discipline under the background of the new college entrance examination.In the perspective of students,this article recognize that the cultivation of students’ key abilities is mainly based on five categories: comprehension ability,experimental exploration ability,model construction ability,reasoning and argumentation ability,and innovation ability.Then refine the definitions of various abilities.In the perspective of teachers,it analyze the professional qualities that physics teachers should possess at the current stage from the following three aspects: professional philosophy and ethics,professional knowledge,and professional abilities.On the basis of the above,this article aims to understand the implementation of teachers’ ability development for students,their learning situation,and their professional literacy through questionnaire research and interviews with 100 front-line teachers and 1000 students from ten high schools in Wanzhou District,Chongqing.Integrated with Data,it is found that that there are some problems in the current situation of high school physics teaching,such as the lack of adaptation of students’ ability development needs and the need to improve teachers’ professional literacy.In detail,it contains the educational philosophy of teachers lagging behind,teaching activities being not diversified enough,students’ learning motivation being insufficient,teachers’ professional knowledge needs to be updated,teachers’ professional abilities need to be improved,and teacher training channels need to be enrichedThis article proposes corresponding strategies addressing the problems faced in high school physics teaching.It suggests to reform physics teaching to improve students’ key abilities,it propose learning as the center and improve students’ five key abilities;strengthen the situation and optimize the physics teaching process;strengthen the application of physical knowledge and innovate physical homework forms;strengthen measures such as communication and stimulating learning initiative.It suggests to expand the development eyesight and promote the professionalization of teacher literacy,it proposes promoting teachers’ own growth,optimizing teacher training and training models in education departments,improving the evaluation system for physics teachers,and reducing teachers’ extracurricular burden;it suggests to optimize the growth environment,create a first-class teaching team,strengthen pre-service training for new teachers,increase the training of normal students,and optimize the school’s hardware facilities.The road of the reform of the college entrance examination ahead is obstacle-packed and long.Hope the above strategies can be of some help to front-line high school physics teaching workers in the pilot provinces and cities of the new college entrance examination.
