| With the development and changes of society,the problems of modern families are gradually complicated.The number of divorced families is also increasing,and the growth and development of children from divorced families has attracted the attention of many school psychologists.The author found that their families are more likely to have problems such as reduced companionship,lack of communication,economic disputes,excessive indulgence,grandparents’ support,and the absence of educational roles,which will adversely affect their psychological growth.Compared with children from intact families,their overall happiness and life satisfaction may be lower,and they are more inclined to adopt negative coping styles when encountering setbacks.At the same time,they are also prone to anxiety,depression,fear,pain and other negative emotions.This study takes adolescents from divorced families as the research object,aiming to understand the status quo of parent-child communication style,coping style,life satisfaction and negative emotion,as well as the differences in gender,school level and urban and rural areas,and further explore the mechanism of parent-child communication style,life satisfaction and coping style on adolescents’ negative emotion.To provide constructive suggestions and suggestions for school mental health education and family education.In this study,1562 adolescents from 5 primary and secondary schools in Kunming City were selected by cluster sampling method,among which 301 were from divorced families and 1361 were from intact families.The Adolescent Parent-Child Communication Psychological Questionnaire(PACT),Depressive Symptom Screening Scale(PHQ-9),Generalized Anxiety Self-Rating Scale(GAD-7),Student Life Satisfaction Scale(SLSS),and Simple Coping Style Scale(SCSQ)were used to collect data.After data analysis,the results of this study are as follows:(1)Adolescents from divorced families have more negative parent-child communication styles than those from normal families,and there is a significant difference.Life satisfaction was significantly lower than that of adolescents from normal families;The levels of depression and anxiety were significantly higher than those of normal families.The positive coping level was significantly lower than that of adolescents from normal families,while the negative coping level was significantly higher than that of adolescents from normal families.(2)There is no significant gender difference in parent-child communication style,life satisfaction,coping style and negative emotion of adolescents from divorced families.(3)There is a significant difference between urban and rural areas in the parent-child communication style of adolescents from divorced families,but there is no significant difference between urban and rural areas in life satisfaction,coping style and negative emotion level.(4)In the four variables of parent-child communication style,life satisfaction,coping style and negative emotion,the lower the schooling period,the more positive the overall situation.(5)In the overall sample,life satisfaction plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between parent-child communication style and depression and anxiety.Positive coping plays a partial mediating role between parent-child communication style and depression.Life satisfaction and positive coping style are valid for the chain-mediated model between parent-child communication style and depression.(6)Among adolescents from divorced families,life satisfaction and positive coping style play a chain mediating role in the relationship between parent-child communication style and depression.In adolescents from normal families,life satisfaction and positive coping style play a parallel mediating role in the relationship between parent-child communication style and depression.In conclusion,compared with adolescents from normal families,adolescents from divorced families have more negative parent-child communication styles,lower life satisfaction,higher levels of depression and anxiety,and are more likely to adopt negative coping styles when confronted with problems.The lower the school period of adolescents,the more positive parent-child communication and coping style,the higher life satisfaction,the less negative emotions,the more positive parent-child communication,the higher life satisfaction,the lower the level of depression and anxiety.Good parent-child communication can help teenagers to reduce anxiety and depression,and improve life satisfaction,so that teenagers are more inclined to deal with problems in a positive way,thus reducing negative emotions.This study suggests:(1)Raise awareness and pay attention to the parent-child communication style and negative emotion level of teenagers from divorced families.(2)Improve the system,the teachers home visit,home school communication and other daily work with mental health work.(3)Build a position and use the platform to help parents and teenagers jointly develop a good way of parent-child communication.(4)Set up courses to help teenagers develop the ability to regulate emotions and develop positive coping styles. |
