With the increasing demand for 4K ultra-high-resolution video,how to achieve high-definition lossless transmission has become a research hotspot in recent years.Compared with 1080 P and 720 P videos,4K videos carry more pixels and information,and require higher transmission bandwidth.In order to meet the high-speed transmission requirements of 4K video,this paper designs a set of 4K audio and video transmission system based on FPGA.The thesis uses Xilinx K7 series chips and is implemented using the Verilog hardware programming language.Aiming at the problem that SDI system can only transmit fixed resolution,this thesis designs a multi-resolution video processing subsystem.After adding this subsystem,the system can not only transmit 4K audio and video,but also backward compatible with video signals of any resolution of 1920x1080P@60 and below,which can meet the needs of diversified use.This system mainly includes the following key parts:(1)Video format conversion.The sending end of the system converts the input HDMI format video signal into SDI serial format for transmission,and the receiving end of the system restores the received SDI serial data to HDMI format for playback,thereby realizing high-speed lossless serial transmission of video in SDI format.(2)4K video processing.The sending end of the system uses the resolution detection module to identify the input video source,and divides the identified 4K(3840x2160P@60)video source by using the SQD-Square Division method,and divides it into four channels,up and down,left and right.The 1920x1080P@60 video stream is transmitted by four 3G-SDI interfaces.The experimental results show that the system can transmit four 1920x1080P@60 video stream,and the final display effect is better than the compression transmission scheme.(3)Multi-resolution video processing.Transfer the identified 1920x1080P@60 and below video streams to the pixel filling module,and uniformly fill them into1920x1080P@60 format video streams for transmission.The receiving system restores the 1920x1080P@60 video stream to the original resolution video display through the cropping module.Experimentally verified,the system can realize the adaptive transmission of 1920x1080P@60,1280x720P@60,1360x768P@60,1024x768P@60and other standard and non-standard resolution video.(4)Audio format conversion and processing.The audio system receives IIS format audio,converts it into AES audio format,and embeds it in the blanking area of the video stream to realize synchronous transmission of audio and video.The receiving system de-embeds AES audio,and performs data conversion from AES to IIS,and finally outputs audio in IIS format.
