Design And Implementation Of Video Conferencing Systems

Video-conference System is the result of the development of computer network, database, multimedia technology and communication services. With communication network, it can connect two or more terminals of the Video-conference System and transmit various images, voice, and data among them, which makes the participants feel that they were on the spot themselves.Combined with practical project, this paper discusses how to design and realize a Video-conference System . Firstly , the paper presents the design project of this system as a whole , which includes the categorization of system message and the design of system protocol . Secondly , the paper introduces algorithm of fragmentation,reassembly and buffering of the system datagram . Thirdly , the paper introduces the design of server communication , the algorithm of routing and congestion control . Finally , the paper introduces the design of client communication and methods how to capture, encode, decode and play video and audio signal .In a word , the paper aims to giving readers an idea that how to design and realize a Video-conference System practically.
