With the rise of short video platforms,mainstream media have also opened short video accounts to spread information and guide public opinion.Guided by core socialist values,CCTV News "Kuaishou" not only releases major political news from a global perspective,but also releases interesting details from people’s lives.It has become the media "Kuaishou" with the largest number of fans and the strongest communication power on the platform.During the Tokyo Olympic Games,CCTV News "Kuaishou" produced and released many short video works to spread the Olympic information,which attracted the attention of the broad audience.This paper takes CCTV News "Kuaishou" as the research object,selects and analyzes the short videos related to the Tokyo Olympic Games released by it from June 1 to September 30,2021,and discusses the elements of its communication content by content analysis method.The research found that CCTV News "Kuaishou" Tokyo Olympic short video dissemination content elements are diverse,highlighting the video theme and title,detailing sports items and people,presenting rich video content;presents a wonderful audio-visual effect with the combination of various media elements;demonstrate professional standards with concise video clips and flexible camera combinations;arouse the audience’s emotion by presenting rich musical emotion and complex emotion.At the same time,the use of case analysis,in-depth analysis of the CCTV News "kuaishou" the spread of the Tokyo Olympic short video content features,subject is focused on the "gold medal" display life style,form shape "live" shows the sports charm,and diversified narrative style and the emotional model has attracted a large audience attention,inspired people’s national pride and the collective sense of honor.Although CCTV News "Kuaishou" Tokyo Olympic short video dissemination has achieved good results,there are still many problems: highly homogeneous content,single form of interaction,excessive emotional catharsis.In the future,if mainstream media want to further improve the communication effect of the Olympic Games,they must create a media matrix,make the content refined and detailed,increase the interaction with the audience,and inspire the audience to think deeply.
