Research On Content Production Of Rural Female Anchors In Kuaishou

The rapid development of short video not only provides rural women a platform of self-learning and self-expression,also gives them new job opportunity.Starting to produce short video and livestream,many rural women become camgirls.This article researches the content production of rural women by online ethnography and depth interview.It finds out that base on the environment of village,rural women take village food,daily life and creative culture as 3 main themes of short videos,meanwhile they always have chat with audience in the livestream.With accumulation of fans,those rural camgirls make money from livestream gifts and e-commerce.The content production improve life of camgirls and help poverty alleviation in rural areas.However,rural camgirls believe the job is not stable,so the industry still need to prove itself and get the possibility of long term development.
