It has been nearly 30 years since the development of our country’s Newspaper Medial Group.With the development of the national economy and society,the Newspaper Group has dynamically changed its organizational structure and management methods in order to match the development strategy.To achieve sustainable growth,the Newspaper Group must establish a scientific and effective organizational structure.At present,our country’s Newspaper market is in a critical period where opportunities and challenges coexist.With the rapid development of national economy and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the News Media Industry,which represents the backbone of the country’s spiritual civilization construction,is booming,and its role in social and economy construction is becoming increasingly vital.At same time,the new features of new era media such as big data,intelligence,self-media,and 5G in the new era have brought out great challenges for the News Media Group.As the core organization of the News Media Industry,how to adjust the organizational structure and update the management of the Newspaper Group,in order to achieve strategic goals,has become a key issue that determines the development of the Newspaper Media Group and even the entire News Media Industry.Z Newspaper Media Group is one of the earliest and larger-scale newspaper media group in our country.The company’s management model,organizational structure,and business model are all representative.Therefore,based on the analysis of the internal conditions and external environment of Z Newspaper Media Group,this paper aims to analyze the reform of the organizational structure of Z Newspaper Group from the perspective of strategy,to formulate an organizational structure suitable for strategic development of Z Newspaper Group,and to optimize it.The reform of organization of Z Newspaper Group enables Z Newspaper Group to adapt to the new features and new requirements of media such as big data and intelligence in the self-media era,and to more effectively undertake the political,economic and social responsibilities of large state-owned media groups.This paper adopts the research method combining interview and data coding analysis.On the basis of relevant research and basic theoretical analysis,firstly,it uses PEST,SWOT and other strategic analysis tools.according to the current inside and outside situation of Z Newspaper Group,analyzed the strategic environment and the strategic choice made by Z Newspaper Media Group.Secondly.on the basis of strategic analysis,from the perspective of strategy,it expounds the problem existing in the organizational structure of Z Newspaper Group and the resistance to change.Finally,in conjunction with Z Newspaper Group’s inner conditions as well as those of the industry,we this paper provide some comments and suggestions for the implementation and safeguard of organizational reform.The relevant research conclusions have a certain guiding role in improving the effectiveness of Z Newspaper Group’s business decision-making and enhancing its influence and competitiveness in the multi-communication pattern.In addition,it provides also certain reference value for the strategic choice and organizational reform of similar large state-owned media groups.
