| Looking back on the centennial course of the Party,great achievements have been made in ethnic work.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,various undertakings in ethnic areas have advanced by leaps and bounds.2022 is the year of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,the people of all ethnic groups in the country will join hands and forge ahead towards the second centenary goal.It is of great significance to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,forge a sense of community of the Chinese nation,and build harmonious inter-ethnic relations.In the context of media-oriented society,modern media plays an important role in strengthening the guidance of public opinion and enhancing the sense of community of the Chinese nation.This paper focuses on discussion of new research perspective of the mainstream media reported for ethnic minorities,choose the most representative and authoritative new mainstream media "People’s Daily",to explore the characteristics of the reports for the hui ethnic group,in building a hui picture focus,and how to build the hui news reports framework,shows how to image of the hui ethnic group,what is the characteristics and revelation.Based on the framework theory,this paper takes the new mainstream media "People’s Daily Online" related reports of The Hui people as a case to grasp the news reports of the Hui people from 2019 to 20213.With the help of Zang Guoren’s three-level framework theory,this paper explores the role of media in the construction of ethnic minority identity from the macro,medium and micro levels through content analysis.And reflect on the effectiveness of the media image construction.Through the research,it is found that from the macro level,the number of reports on The Hui ethnic group in People’s Daily Online has increased sharply in 2020,and the overall trend is also increasing year by year,which is related to China’s national conditions in the past two years,rather than just the fluctuation of this topic.The main theme of the report is the overall environment of social development,showing a positive image of The Hui.At the medium level,news sources show the absolute control of media and reflect the characteristics and advantages of mainstream media.Most of the news roles are located in government officials,and the Hui people are mainly "indirectly fuzzy present".At the micro level,through emotion analysis and report type display,the overall positive tone of the report is measured,and the innovation degree of People’s Daily Online in the form of hui report is analyzed.It is found that the media image of Hui ethnic group presented by People’s Daily Online is positive and positive on the whole,including the united and harmonious "family",beneficiaries of national policies,and people who are getting rid of poverty in the new era.As the guardian and builder of the mainstream ideological position,People’s Daily Online has created a positive image of Hui ethnic group in the new media environment.It plays an important role in creating the national unity and promoting the major theme of development,presenting the characteristics of strict check and distinct political stance.Meanwhile,viewing communication,People’s Daily online cannot report the Hui without the restriction of objective laws of media,such as the influence of social situation,news sources and other factors.Under the modern communication environment,People’s Daily online has given a lot of enlightenment in creating public opinion guidance and enhancing the community identity of the Chinese nation.By analyzing the characteristics of huis media image on people.com.cn,this study hopes to summarize enlightenment and put forward some humble opinions,so as to better serve the call of national unity. |
