Rapidly evolving mobile technology has made shooting apps on mobile devices the global leader in shooting options.As the market size of the shooting app category has grown,its level of competition has also increased substantially.Therefore,in order to improve the competitiveness of shooting APPs and give them a place in the fierce market competition,this paper investigates the goal management of shooting APPs based on lifecycle theory,which aims to maintain or increase its proliferation level at the time of release and after the release of the app,as well as to attract enough users to install and download the app and consolidate its user base.The purpose of this paper is to detect the factors influencing the goal management of shooting app,to determine the factors influencing the growth and decline risk of shooting app in the product life cycle after release,and to explore the performance of the app under two dimensions of attractiveness and retention after release.The study mainly analyzed the characteristics of the filming app,borrowed literature to stage its product life cycle,and constructed two concepts of attractiveness and retention based on its stages and project goals,selected influencing factors for different stages based on the literature for specific research,and further conducted qualitative research on the selected influencing factors using Delphi method and questionnaire method.In terms of quantitative analysis,the data were analyzed for risk using the risk analysis model of the survival analysis method,and four models were considered as candidates in characterizing the risk based on the three different risk influencing factors in this paper.Exponential model(for flat risks),Gompertz model(for monotonically increasing or decreasing risks),lognormal model and generalized gamma model(for flexible and non-monotonic risks).The choice of multiple models allows for a more accurate characterization of the data.The results show that the shooting app has a unique product life cycle in which the likelihood of increasing attractiveness and retention decreases monotonically over time after release,while the likelihood of decreasing rises after reaching a peak and then begins to decline,developing the right approach to goal management at different stages can have a beneficial impact on their download ranking on the app platform.Compared with the traditional analysis methods,this paper starts from the goal management of shooting APP products,divides its different stages from the perspective of product life cycle,and introduces survival analysis methods for model building and analysis,so that this paper proposes different goal management methods for different stages of product life cycle to improve its competitiveness with a dynamic perspective.Through the above research,this paper enriches the theoretical basis in the field of shooting APP product goal management,and also provides a more general method for the product cycle research of mobile APP,this research also provides insights for developers and publishers in how to manage the operation of APP in different stages,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.
