Research On The Influencing Factors And Driving Paths Of Enterprise Digital Transformation

The development of the new generation of information technology provides an important opportunity for the development of China’s digital economy.With the sweeping tide of digitization in the world,the digital economy has become an important growth point and driving force for China’s economic development.Under the background of the rapid development of digital economy,digital economy has had a significant impact on enterprises.With the advent of the era of digital economy,enterprises are facing the impact of digitization.Digital transformation has increasingly become an important way for enterprises to regain vitality and vitality.The Chinese government has attached great importance to the digital transformation of enterprises,and various regions and departments have continuously introduced various policies to promote the digital transformation of enterprises.In this context,the digital transformation of enterprises has increasingly become a focus area of academic attention.By combing the previous research,it can be found that the current research on enterprise digital transformation mostly focuses on exploring the impact of enterprise digital transformation on enterprise development,the problems and challenges encountered by enterprise digital transformation,etc.,and less discussion on the influencing factors and driving paths of enterprise digital transformation.In addition,existing studies have focused on the impact of a single or multiple factors on enterprise digital transformation,while ignoring the synergistic matching between various factors.Therefore,from the perspective of configuration,this paper discusses the configuration effect between the factors that affect the digital transformation of enterprises.Combining the era background of the digital economy and the development status of digital transformation of enterprises,this paper determines the research direction based on the previous literature and theoretical research,and then constructs a research framework that affects the digital transformation of enterprises from the three levels of "macro-meso-micro".This paper selects 1054 listed companies as research samples,selects seven antecedents:,regional digital economy development level,environmental uncertainty,industry market concentration,industry digitalization level,enterprise scale,corporate governance level and managerial ability,using fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis method to study the configuration effect between the complex factors affecting enterprise digital transformation,and explore the path driving the enterprise digital transformation.The research found that:(1)The digital transformation of enterprises is affected by the complex relationship among macro environment,industry environment and internal resources of enterprises;(2)There are eight paths for enterprises to achieve high digital transformation level,which can be divided into four types according to core conditions;(3)There are nine paths leading to a low level of digital transformation for enterprise,which can be divided into five types according to core conditions;(4)The development level of digital economy in the region where the enterprise is located and the digital level of the industry where the enterprise is located are very important for the enterprise to achieve a high level of digital transformation;(5)Environmental uncertainty will drive enterprises to achieve a high level of digital transformation in most cases;(6)There is a certain degree of complementary relationship between the impact of corporate governance level and managerial ability on the digital transformation of enterprises.Finally,this paper puts forward research suggestions based on the research conclusions and practical experience,and provides research reference and perspective inspiration for understanding the digital transformation of enterprises,and helps enterprises to achieve high-level digital transformation.
