| With the rapid development of financial technology and the continuous growth of digital economy, banks must adapt to new economic situation, market environment and technological development trends, change the traditional business model, accelerate digital transformation and improve the operational efficiency and digital management level.Digital transformation is a systematic work which needs theoretical guidance, and enterprise architecture(EA)theory just has the advantage. As there is little research from the perspective of EA,therefore,it is significant to study how to plan digital transformation in a structured and systematic way. This paper uses the methods of policy research, case analysis and questionnaire survey to study the motivation of digital transformation from the external and internal factors, and conducts in-depth analyzes and verifies on the core tasks and transformation measures from the aspects of strategy, business,IT and governance based on TOGAF theory. The following are main conclusions:(1)Digital transformation stems from banks’ response to external impacts such as changed customer group structure, intensified market competition, tighter financial regulation, and penetration of emerging technologies, and endogenous forces such as improving efficiency, controlling risks and expanding revenue;(2)Put forward the STIMIO framework to guide the digital transformation from six aspects:establishing the digital transformation strategy, cultivating digital talent team, carrying out digital business innovation, building digital management and control capability, building digital infrastructure and promoting digital intelligent operation;(3)The STIMIO framework has been validated by multiple bank transformation practice cases,as well as research data from bank practitioners, and has good applicability. The STIMIO framework proposed in this paper from the perspective of EA contains six core tasks and 20 measures, which not only adds a new research perspective about study of financial digital transformation, but also provides action guidance and reference for various banks to achieve high-quality development through digital transformation. |
