| The "large unit teaching" model puts forward a new understanding of unit teaching method from a macro perspective, and emphasizes the close combination of classroom and literacy objectives. In the first-line teaching, primary and secondary schools are also actively applying the "large unit teaching" model to carry out research. However,in practice, many teachers find it difficult to grasp the goal of "large unit teaching" and do not integrate it with daily teaching flexibly. As a result, students find it difficult to adapt to the learning goal and do not have a clear understanding of the learning goal, resulting in poor learning results."Narrative assessment",as a method to retell students’ existing learning experiences through story-based written records, can stimulate students to review and sort out their learning experiences, and find deficiencies in methods or attitudes,so as to improve their learning ability. The assessment process is clear, the basis is clear, the story language is close to the students’ psychology,in line with the curriculum standards of Chinese subject and the requirements of quality objectives, and has great significance for promoting the application of "large unit teaching".This study takes "large unit teaching" and "narrative assessment" as the research object, carries out theoretical research through literature review, and discusses the feasibility and necessity of "narrative assessment" in "large unit teaching" through practical research such as practical teaching, questionnaire survey, individual interview. In practical teaching, sixth grade students are selected to continuously improve the design of "narrative assessment" through three rounds of action research,so as to provide a more traceable and authentic assessment method for "large unit teaching".In the first round of action research, the assessment design template is determined by reviewing literature, and the students are organized to have a preliminary understanding of "narrative assessment".The second round of action research is applied in large unit teaching.Application assessment, recovery assessment and student interview are the main implementation processes. In the second round of research, problems such as too simple assessment story, lack of learning effect test and lack of targeted learning suggestions were exposed. In the third round of action research, grade assessment is added to further test the learning effect, and multiple types of after-class exercises are added to enhance the process guidance for students’ assessment. Finally, interview and questionnaire survey are used to further improve the assessment design.Based on the questionnaire survey data, student interviews and student practices,it can be seen that students’ assessment behavior has been improved in action research, and the learning effect has continued to improve. Therefore, the process design and implementation strategies are summarized in the action research. After conducting research,it has been found that "narrative assessment" is of great significance for "macro teaching" and can be helpful to students’ learning.Based on practice, relevant conclusions have been drawn: the process design of narrative assessment has a driving effect on teachers’ adjustment of classroom teaching, assisting teachers in timely identifying and addressing gaps;the process design of narrative assessment can improve students’ acceptance of assessment and change their views on assessment;the process design of narrative assessment can help to increase students’ concentration in the classroom and enhance learning effectiveness. The research also brings some inspirations: the design of narrative assessment should organize students to conduct dual-perspective assessment, assign students with regularly changing "learning partners",and organize learning partners to communicate. However, there are still shortcomings in the research, such as problems with the authenticity of assessment which require a lot of effort to address, and limitations in the practical subjects and research objects. These issues need to be continuously strengthened by researchers. |
