As a basic compulsory course,high school ideology and politics is the main channel of ideological and political education for high school students,and has an irreplaceable role in the formation of their worldview,outlook on life and values,and is an important way to train socialist builders and successors.In the new round of curriculum reform,the high school ideology and politics curriculum standards clearly put forward the core literacy as the focus of cultivation,specifically condensed into four subject core literacy of political identity,scientific spirit,awareness of the rule of law and public participation.Among them,political identity literacy is the most fundamental task of the subject of ideology and politics,with a leading role and central position.In the face of the requirements of cultivating political identity literacy,the reform and optimization of teaching methods are the main factors and key links that restrict and affect the effectiveness of cultivating political identity literacy.Therefore,at this stage of high school politics teaching,we need to change and optimize the traditional teaching methods,fully reflect the subjectivity of students in the teaching process,and use various ways and methods to implement activity-based classrooms to help students’ political identity awareness and behavioral ability improve and political identity literacy improve.Therefore,in the current stage of high school politics teaching,we need to change and optimize the traditional teaching methods,fully reflect the subjective status of students in the teaching process,and use various ways and methods to implement activity-based classes,so as to help students improve their awareness of political identity and behavior and form political identity literacy.This paper focuses on the theme of optimizing the teaching methods for cultivating political identity literacy in high school Civics and Political Science classes,analyzes the problems faced in optimizing the teaching methods for cultivating political identity literacy from the perspectives of teaching concepts,education modes and teaching methods,takes "eight unities" as the methodological guide,and follows the requirements of "building an activity-based subject curriculum with the core literacy of ideology and politics as the main focus" proposed in the new curriculum.The methodology is guided by the "eight unities" and follows the requirement of "constructing an activity-based subject curriculum led by cultivating core literacy in ideology and politics" as proposed in the new curriculum,and discusses how to optimize the teaching methods for cultivating political identity literacy among high school students from the perspectives of discernment orientation,context creation,activity cooperation and extra-curricular practice."The study also provides some constructive suggestions for high school political science teachers’ classroom teaching.
