| Politics should be strong,so that people with faith speak of faith,good at political perspective,teaching and educating people,in front of the great right and wrong to maintain political sobriety,this is the primary requirement for the new era to build a strong secondary school Civics class teachers.Only with a high level of political literacy can secondary school teachers perform their teaching and nurturing duties correctly,focus on the cultivation of students’ core qualities,take the initiative to learn and understand the implementation of the Party’s theories,guidelines,policies and national curriculum standards,combine theories with real-life problems and the needs of students’ learning and growth in teaching to make theories thorough and issues clear,convince students with scientific theories,use the powerful power of truth to motivate students,infect students with full of political emotions,and guide students to learn and think consciously,face,analyze and correct various wrong views and trends with dialectical thinking methods.The students will be inspired,infected with full of political emotion,guided to study and think consciously,confronted with dialectical thinking,analyzed and corrected various erroneous views and trends,so that ideological and political education is really into the brain and heart,and given strong political guidance and timely and effective ideological help during the critical period when the students’ "three views" are formed.This study used the literature method to conduct a more comprehensive analysis of the academic research results on the political literacy of secondary school teachers of Civics and Politics,It also provides a more systematic overview of the Party and state policies on cultivating and improving the political literacy of secondary school Civics teachers.which laid the foundation for the establishment of the research framework and focus.Using questionnaires and interviews,an in-depth investigation was conducted on the current situation and cultivation and enhancement of political literacy of teachers in five secondary schools in Zhidan County,Yan’an City.It was found that a series of problems still exist in the political literacy and its enhancement of teachers in secondary schools in Zhidan County,mainly: the uneven performance and development of political literacy of teachers in Civics and Political Science,the imperfect institutional measures of schools regarding the enhancement of teachers’ political literacy.Local education administrative departments’ policies on secondary school teachers’ political literacy enhancement are not sound enough,etc.The main reasons for the problems are: the internal motivation of secondary school teachers’ political literacy enhancement is "weak",schools’ awareness and initiatives of secondary school teachers’ political literacy cultivation are "light",and local education administrative departments’ initiatives to strengthen secondary school teachers’ political literacy cultivation are The "weakness" of local education administrative departments’ initiatives to strengthen the cultivation of political literacy of Civics teachers.Based on the relevant theoretical and policy analysis,corresponding strengthening and improvement countermeasures can be taken around the three main bodies of secondary school Civics teachers,schools and local education administrative departments,namely,secondary school teachers of Civics should enhance their endogenous motivation and proactively practice the policy requirements for political literacy enhancement;schools should fulfill their leading responsibilities and accelerate the improvement of secondary school Civics teachers’ political literacy enhancement The education administration department should strengthen guidance and management to provide a strong policy guarantee for improving the political literacy of secondary school teachers. |
