This study explores the construction of kindergarten thematic activity practice models from the perspective of children’s philosophy, grounded on the unique value of innovative practices in kindergarten thematic activities and the positive implications of children’s philosophy on such innovation. The aim is to improve the quality of education in kindergarten thematic activities, broaden the perspectives of educators and related adults in child-rearing,and promote the growth of children’s lives.Upon reviewing existing literature, researchers found that current domestic and international studies on the integration of children’s philosophy into kindergarten thematic activity practices are exceedingly scarce. Thus, this research, based on children’s philosophy and adopting a unique educational perspective to construct thematic activity practice models, holds a certain degree of innovation.Through literature review, the researcher explores the requirements of children’s philosophy for kindergarten theme practice innovation models, and combines educational practice analysis and summary of the problems in the current kindergarten theme activity practice models from the perspective of children’s philosophy. The researcher then integrates theory and practice to construct models through action research, and analyzes and summarizes the effectiveness of this research through interviews and artwork analysis methods. Finally, conclusions are drawn and suggestions are made. The researcher conducted a three-semester practice in H Kindergarten in Chengdu City, constructing a children’s philosophy-based theme activity practice model through three theme activities and nine sub-theme activities. This model includes a theoretical framework and operational mechanism, with the theoretical framework containing five core elements: basic ideas, basic goals, basic content, basic methods, and evaluation principles. The operational mechanism includes the implementation process of this model, the growth process of children’s experiences, and the construction of experience circles. The study found that this model has three characteristics of "care," "love for wisdom," and "inquiry" and can cultivate children’s abilities to "dare to doubt, think," "dare to do,explore," and "connect emotionally, help each other" in learning and character development. It can also help teachers adjust and reshape their views on children and enhance curriculum creativity. This practice model provides a paradigm for kindergarten educators to carry out theme activity practices.Due to the limited implementation time and scope of this study, the long-term effects of this model cannot be fully reflected. Therefore, future research needs to continue optimizing this model through persistent practice to better assess its effectiveness.Scholars are kindly requested to be understanding and offer constructive criticism. |
